eFootball 2022: Multiple editions set to be made available

eFootball 2022 is set for release in just a few days.

The game may not have had its varied editions in the past, but there should be some differences between the Last and Current-Gen versions.

So, check out all the latest below.

Latest - Pre Order bundle now available

The Premium Player Pack for eFootball 2022 comes with loads of in-game bonuses, which you can check out in the image below.

The Premium Player Pack Pre Order bundle is priced at £32.99 / $45 on all consoles, but should you order via Pes 2021 or PES 2021 LITE, you'll receive 10% off the overall cost.

For more information on the Pre Order bundle, head here.

Will eFootball have different Editions?

With Pro Evo's replacement eFootball being free to play, it's hard to imagine there will be alternative editions for the game.

MESSI MAGIC - We still don't know too much about eFootball

We do know that a paid DLC will arrive offering offline game modes such as Master League and Become a Legend, but that isn't really another edition of the game.

What will be interesting to see is how the game will differ from Last Gen to Next Gen, as well as on PC and mobile devices.

We expect to find out more about the Next Gen platforms and details around Unreal Engine at Gamescom later this summer.

Club Editions

A great aspect of the PES franchise in the past, is that the partner clubs receive bespoke editions of the game.

We hope this would return in some form, perhaps getting you some club-themed bonuses in MyClub.

In the past, Konami has offered a full club squad in myClub, free coins, a classic kit and an in-game menu club theme.

Given the company going down the microtranscations route, having a £5 / $5 add-on to get club branding and players would be a smart way of going about it.

Possible Club Editions

  • Barcelona
  • Bayern Munich
  • Juventus
  • Manchester United
  • Arsenal
  • Roma *NEW*

Next Gen upgrades

We can't wait to see what eFootball serves up on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.

It is worth remembering that eFootball will offer cross-generation and cross-platform support - including for mobile devices, so that could limit the potential on Next Gen consoles.

We are expecting to see improved FPS and no loading screens, but whether there will be other elements like haptic feedback on PS5 remains to be seen.
