A new "Fireberry" Jordan Point Lane colourway has been revealed and, if you're like us, you're probably wondering what their release date is so you can get your hands on a pair.
Nike first unveiled the Point Lane silhouette, named after Michael Jordan's home in Highland Park, Illinois, in the summer of 2021, and have since created a number of great colourways to build out this new experimental Jordan collection.
While Jordan purists may be looking ahead to the likes of the Air Jordan 11 Cherry's arrival, we feel the "Fireberry" Point Lane is not one to sleep on.
So, with that being said, here's everything we know about their upcoming release so far...
Jordan Point Lane Fireberry Release Date
It is currently being reported that the "Fireberry" colourway is due to be released in Spring 2022, possibly just in time for Summer.
However, the exact date of the drop is yet to be disclosed by Nike despite the brand recently unveiling the official images.
One of the last Point Lane releases was the "Infrared" colourway on 9 September 2021. While this isn't much to go off, it may provide some indication as to when the "Fireberry" Point Lane's will arrive in and around April, May, or June.
With so much speculation, make sure you check back in as we'll be keeping this article updated with all the latest news right here.
Jordan Point Lane Fireberry Design
As mentioned, this Jordan Point Lane comes dressed in a Fireberry-like colour scheme which is somewhat reminiscent of Nike's “Ultramarine” Air Max 180’s.
Firstly, the upper is constructed out of premium white leather layers, with perforations featuring on both the lateral and medial sides.
You then get a blue outline around the layer housing the eyelets to match the inner lining and insoles, while the laces themselves are white like the rest of the upper.
Around the heel counter, you get a Nike Air logo dressed in red to stand out from the white base, however, the midsole unit just below provides a stark contrast by adorning a much darker black.
You may also notice the extended Air Max unit underfoot which should provide improved performance and comfort on the court.
One of the most interesting design features of the "Fireberry" Point Lane's is the outsoles which combine the same red and black featured on the tongues and midsoles with a translucent, ice-like cutout similar in many ways to the upcoming Nu Retro release.
Jordan Point Lane Fireberry Price Predictions
As there is no official listing for these sneakers at this moment in time, it's hard to predict exactly how much these "Fireberry" Jordan's will cost.
However, based on previous Point Lane releases, we believe these sneakers will retail for somewhere in the region of $140.
Stay tuned to find out more information as and when it arrives.
