Each year, Nike releases some form of the Air Jordan 11 around the holiday season, and this year appears to be no different following a number of reports hinting at a return of the "Cherry" red colourway in 2022.
We first saw these sneakers debut as low-tops back in 2001, and again in 2016; however, it seems we're now getting a mid-top variation which looks to be a running theme with Jordan's this year with the Air Jordan 1 "Africa" and "Inside Out" coming soon.
With that being said, we're focusing on the Retro "Cherry" 11's in this article, so, without further delay, let's begin with their release date.
Air Jordan 11 Retro Cherry Release Date
As mentioned above, Nike usually drops its latest Jordan 11 around the holiday's which means this year's "Cherry" red offering is expected to arrive December 2022.
We'd advise taking this information as final though as there has been no official word from Nike about their debut just yet.
Make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping you updated with all the latest news surrounding their release right here.
Air Jordan 11 Retro Cherry Design
Early images of the "Red Cherry" 11s have finally been revealed, showcasing a design not too dissimilar to the original.
The classic Jordan 11 construction has been kept the same, utilising white mesh uppers and cherry red patent leather overlays around the mudguards and heel counters.
The cherry red theme will then continue by dressing the Jordan branding around the heel and across elements of the outsole.
On the topic of the sole, it appears we'll be getting a slightly translucent, almost ice-white arrangement that is not too dissimilar to the 2001 low-top release.
While these leaks will likely be accurate, the final design may differ from these images slightly, so stay tuned for more official images once they arrive.
Air Jordan 11 Retro Cherry Price
The reported retail price for a men's pair of the "Cherry" 11's is $225; however, we're a considerable way off their release date so this may be subject to change once more information is announced.
It's also expected that these will be highly sought-after sneakers, so we'd recommend acting fast upon their arrival to pick up a pair before bots and scalpers secure them for resale.
Where To Buy Air Jordan 11 Retro Cherry
We believe one of the first places we'll likely see these Jordan 11 sneakers drop is at Nike.com under the Jordan or basketball subsection.
We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications as soon as the listing goes live on the SNKRS page or App so you're completely prepared for their arrival.
