It has been a busy summer in the NBA.
There has been a whole range of high profile moves across both conferences as the battle for the 2020 rings begins, and it is set to make NBA 2K20 a more competitive game when it finally drops on 6 September.
It's been all chance in Los Angeles. The Lakers have picked up NBA 2K20 cover star Anthony Davis. The former Pelican joins up with LeBron James as they look to claim their first NBA title since 2010.
Meanwhile, cross city rivals LA Clippers have been busy themselves. Last years Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard has joined from the Toronto Raptors, as has OKCs MVP candidate Paul George.

The Nets made some serious moves in the market
The Brooklyn Nets have acquired the services of former Boston Celtics point guard Kyrie Irving and the Warriors Kevin Durant, with the latter expected to be out for the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon.
The Houston Rockets capture of Russell Westbrook is sure to make them one of the favorites in the West. Meanwhile Kemba Walker has joined the Celtics from the Hornets and Mike Conley has left the Grizzlies in favor of the Utah Jazz.
Whilst all of these moves spell good news for fans of the NBA, what effect will they have on fans of the NBA 2K series? The answer is simple, a nerfed Golden State Warriors.
For the past few seasons, the Warriors have been an unstoppable force, both on the real-life court, and the virtual one.
Their team on 2K19 was nothing short of ridiculous, and there was nothing worse then loading up to play a game of Online Seasons and matching up with a team consisting of a 95 Curry, 89 Klay, 97 KD, 87 Draymond Green and a 90 Boogie Cousins.
Whilst the Warriors will still be a solid choice on 2K, they do still have the Splash Brothers after all, they will no longer be the side that everyone fears facing.
Number one draft pick Zion will be one of the highest-rated rookies 2K has ever seen!

There will be plenty of fun teams to play with on 2K20. The New Orleans Pelicans, headed by rookie sensation Zion Williamson, are sure to be up there, as will the Boston Celtics with their trio of Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and new-man Kemba Walker. The Philadelphia 76ers are also sure to be up there with the top-rated sides as they look to go one step further in the East.
But here the three teams who we believe are going to be the most dangerous on the new game.
3 - Los Angeles Lakers
The Lakers are one of the bookmakers favorites to win it all next year and rightly so. With their two star LeBron and AD already confirmed as 97 and 94 ratings respectively, they will also take some beating on 2K.
LeBron and AD are bound to make the Lakers a popular selection.Despite his recent injury, expect DeMarcus Cousins to be a high 80 once again, whilst Rajon Rondo and Kyle Kuzma will make up a starting five capable of competing against anyone on the platform.
2 - LA Clippers
If you're looking at superstar pairings, look no further than the Clippers Kawhi Leonard (97) and Paul George (93). The two new signings are two of the leagues best on both ends of the court, and will undoubtedly be a nightmare for any opposition on 2K.
Are Kawhi and PG the best duo in the NBA?
They have options from down the squad too. Patrick Beverley will not be the highest rated, but offers some quality defense and the occasional three pointer, whilst Landry Shamet is bound to be one the games best from deep.

1 - Houston Rockets
The top spot goes to the Houston Rockets. Whilst James Harden (96) and Russell Westbrook (90) are the lowest-rated star pairing out of the three top spots, the two superstars in game abilities, combined with the strengths of the rest of the Rockets squad, make them our number one choice.
Harden and Russ are back together for the Rockets, who can stop them?
Let's face it, stopping Westbrook at the rim in 2K isn't easy, and when he's got Harden lingering for the step back three, it will be an unstoppable force.
Add the ever improving Clint Capela (85) to the mix, alongside Eric Gordon and PJ Tucker, you have yourself NBA 2K20s go-to-team!
