Two new sports titles are available for Amazon Prime members today. Madden NFL 27 and NBA The Run have joined the streaming catalogue.
It hasn't been just three months since the release of Madden NFL 27. NBA The Run also released this year to mixed reviews but is different enough and fast-paced compared to NBA 2K, making it worth a shot if you're a subscriber.
Both titles join FC 26 as the free sports titles for Prime users this year.
NBA The Run and Madden NFL 27 Now Free With Amazon Prime
Luna Standard is part of the Amazon Prime subscription. The higher-tier Luna Premium version has a much larger library of games that includes more recent releases.
The standard tier has received plenty of newer games too. The most recent high-profile addition to the subscription is Star Wars Galactic Racer.
Both Madden NFL 27 and NBA The Run are available now to Prime subscribers through Luna Standard. It is not permanent, however. The library is often refreshed, and the games leave the subscription for any odd reasons.
Madden NFL 27 had a poor launch, so its early arrival isn't very unexpected. In our review, we said there were positives in presentation, Franchise mode, and Superstar mode. But a lackluster gameplay experience and bugs ultimately held it down to a score of 6.5 out of 10.
We were impressed during our initial preview of NBA The Run. It didn't quite end up being the successor to NBA Street, but it offers a great time of its own.
Regardless of the reception, these are still two big games for subscribers to try at no additional cost. Being tied to Luna also means you don't have to download anything and can jump into them right away.
