Yumemizuki Mizuki is the only new character for version 5.4 of Genshin Impact and will be available alongside Sigewinne's rerun. So far, there has been little fanfare leading up to her release, and nor does Mizuki's kit appear all that flattering either.

We've had a very packed banner schedule for the past few updates—Neuvillette, Zhongli, Mavuika, Citlali, Clorinde, and Arlecchino. If somehow you haven't yet gone into a crippling Primogems shortage, is Mizuki worth spending the remaining funds on?

Should You Wish For Mizuiki In Genshin Impact 5.4?

No, Mizuki is not worth wishing for in Genshin Impact 5.4. That's if you're concerned about having a strong character. Even then, you'll eventually get her for free later this year in anniversary rewards, as she will be tossed into the standard banner after the update. It also means you can lose 50-50 anytime and get her.

Being a standard character means HoYoverse is not going to slap her with more than a half-decent kit. The whole update is pretty dull, so her kit is deliberately underwhelming to pass the time until the next big thing.

Of all the four characters in the update, Furina is a must-pull and you won't regret pulling Wriothesley either. It is best to completely avoid phase 1.

Not like we can stop you from wishing, and we don't want to police your choices, either. If you really fancy the character, for whatever reason, go ahead and wish. In that case, check out our build guide to learn about her teams and best artifacts.

Mizuki's Playstyle In Genshin Impact

Mizuki is an EM-scaling on-field swirl DMG dealer and Anemo driver in Genshin Impact and has healing capabilities. Her playstyle is using her Elemental Skill to hover around and collect the "snacks" summoned by her Elemental Burst.

That's because, during her Elemental Skill, she cannot perform any attacks. Her playstyle means you cannot slot any off-field character that requires on-field action to trigger their kit, like Yelan and Xingqiu. As of 5.4, Yumemizuki Mizuki's best teammates are Furina, Fischl, and Ororon, in a taser team composition.

Sure, you can get serviceable damage out of her best team, but both Furina and Fischl are highly desirable supports that are part of many good-to-meta teams. There is little reason to use them with Mizuki than someone else like Monsieur Neuvillette.

That's about everything you need to know when considering wishing for Mizuki. Should you decide to wish for her but are out of Primogems, here are the many ways to get them fast in Genshin Impact.
