Yumemizuki Mizuki will be joining the colourful cast of Genshin Impact in the upcoming version 5.4. Past the update, the nightmare devouring Yumekui-baku will join the Standard Banner.

Yes, hearing a character being standard can put a bit of a dampener on anyone's mood — no way HoYoverse is releasing a great standard unit, not in this economy. The silver lining, though, is that you'll eventually get her (possibly free on the anniversary, even).

So, it is not a bad idea to keep a build ready for the Mizuki in Genshin Impact.

Mizuki Playstyle In Genshin Impact

Mizuki in Genshin Impact is an on-field swirl DMG dealer and Anemo driver with healing capabilities. She is at her best in Taser teams.

Her Elemental Skill is the most important part of her kit, followed by her Burst. In her Elemental Skill, she'll drift around doing nothing but triggering swirls and dealing damage at certain intervals.

Meanwhile, her Elemental Burst will deal damage upon casting and summon snacks that can be picked. The snacks will either heal up to 70% HP or deal Anemo damage if your HP is above that threshold.

That means her playstyle is first performing abilities of off-field supports, followed by Mizuki's Elemental Burst and Skill, and then, hover around, chill, pick snacks along the way.

Since she does not use her normal attacks (or any attacks at all, to be fair) characters like Xingqiu and Yelan are a no-no. Her damage isn't remarkable either. All in all, she is a proper standard character!

Best Artifacts For Mizuki In Genshin Impact

The best artifact for Mizuki is Viridescent Venerer. It is a staple for almost every Anemo character that isn't an out-and-out DPS, and given how important many are, we expect you have a good 4pc already lying around.

Mizuki is EM scaling, so that is the only stat you have to chase and give a bit of Energy Recharge on the sides. As for how much EM you need, more than 1,000 EM is a good starting point or something to settle on if you don't want to stress too much.

Run triple EM piece in Sands, Goblet, and Circlet to achieve it. Generally speaking, fetching that number shouldn't be tough if you already have good artifacts and weapons. A decent week's worth of farming can solve it too.

In case Viridescent Venerer is not an option, simply combine 2pc of each of any EM-providing sets.

Best Weapons

The best weapon for Mizuki is Sunny Morning Sleep Sleep-In. An obvious pick, as it is her signature weapon that is tailor-made for her. Here are its stats when you fully upgrade to level 90:

  • Attack: 542
  • EM: 265
  • Passive: Elemental Mastery increases by 120 for 6s after triggering Swirl. Elemental Mastery increases by 96 for 9s after the wielder's Elemental Skill hits an opponent. Elemental Mastery increases by 32 for 30s after the wielder's Elemental Burst hits an opponent.

Other good choices are A Thousand Floating Dreams, Sacrificial Fragment, and anything that provides EM. Yumemizuki Mizuki is an EM merchant so that is the only major thing to keep in mind, really.

Best Team For Mizuki In Genshin Impact

The best teammates for Mizuiki in Genshin Impact are Furina, Fischl, and Ororon. You can replace them with characters of similar archetypes like Yae Miko instead of Fischl and Ororon or someone else along those lines.

She is also fine on aggravate, so you play a team of Mizuki, Nahida, Fischl, and Ororon. Like the team we suggested above, you can swap these party members with other similar characters that can fill the roles. These two are the standout teams for Mizuiki as of version 5.4.

Remember, since Mizuki isn't an extraordinary character, we recommend using everything best for her so you're not struggling. For more Genshin Impact build guides, check out the ones for Mavuika, Citlali, Neuvillette, Furina, and Wriothesley.
