Citlali in Genshin Impact is a buffer and a shielder. As a buffer, she is only best for the Pyro and Hydro teams. That's because her passive, Ascension 1, decreases the Hydro and Pyro RES of opponents and her off-field Cryo application makes her an upgrade for any Melt team composition.
Being a support means Granny isn't hard to work with. All you need to do with her is press her Elemental Skill and Burst. They're the only two talents you'll ever have to upgrade, with Elemental Skill being a higher priority. Both her A1 passive and shield are tied to her Elemental Skill.
Best Artifacts For Citlali In Genshin Impact
The best artifact for Citlali in Genshin Impact is the Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City. It can be farmed through the Sanctum of Rainbow Spirits in Natlan, and almost all characters in the region use the artifacts from the domain—the Obsidian Codex is the premium artifact from Natlan DPS.
So, the domain is worth farming if you're looking to build multiple characters from the region. Here are some things that you need to keep in mind when you're farming the set for Citlali:
- EM and ER are the two most important stats to look after.
- Her shield scales with EM. So, ideally, run triple EM in Sands, Goblet, and Circlet.
- Switch to ER Sands if you cannot get her Elemental Burst off cooldown.
- In her best teams, her ER requirement is more than 180% and can go upwards of 200%. Anything between is a good target.
Since the shield is only for "comfort," if you think you'll fare well without it, you can look for CRIT rolls and squeeze an extra bit of damage. However, you won't really need that extra bit of damage.
The Scroll of the Hero of Cinder City does not stack, so if one from your team already has it, then it's best to use the Tenacity of the Millelith or Gilded Dreams.

TTDS is a 3-Star weapon, and you probably have hundreds of them. You can refine them and spare all the worry about wishing for another weapon.
TTDS is good when your DPS prefers ATK, which is most of her top Melt teams. It's the best F2P option, too, and because you can save so many wishes, we highly recommend using it instead of pulling for 5-Star.
Other options include Wandering Evenstar, A Thousand Floating Dreams, Favonius Codex, and Sacrificial Fragments.
Best Team For Citlali In Genshin Impact
Citlali is best for Pyro DPS that rely on Melt for damage as well as several Hydro DPS in Genshin Impact. Her best teammates are Mavuika, Bennett, and Xilonen, where Mavuika is the main damage dealer.
This is also Mavuika's best team, so if you're looking to maximize the Pyro Archon's damage, you have to wish for Citlali. They're both rated up together, making it tough to get them both.
You can also slot Citlali with other Pyro DPS like Arlecchino and Hu Tao, particularly Arlecchino. Other DPS that benefit from Citlali are Chasca and Neuvillette, but slotting her might not be the best in all situations for our Monsieur.
