Version 5.4 is the next major patch in Genshin Impact. Yumemizuki Mizuki is the major headliner for the update that appears otherwise unassuming. Everything about the update, including Mizuki's full kit, will be revealed in the version 5.4 livestream.
Even if you don't find learning about them all that thrilling, you get three Primogems codes worth 300 gems in the livestream. And given how busy the recent banner schedule has been, you cannot miss out on those.
So, here's the date for the upcoming Genshin Impact 5.4 version livestream.
Genshin Impact 5.4 Livestream Date & Time
The Genshin Impact 5.4 livestream will be on January 31, 2024. HoYoverse always schedules these streams on Friday, two weeks before the update. Keep in mind the date is not official and is based on the game's current schedule, any unexpected delays might push the dates back or forward.
Most of the past livestreams have started at 4 AM PTÂ (12 PM GMT, 7 AM ET) and the 5.4 livestream will likely begin at that hour.
The tentative date for the 5.4 update is February 12, 2025, a day after the banners for Clorinde and Arlecchino end, so the expected livestream date checks out.
Where to Watch the Genshin Impact 5.4 Livestream?
Genshin Impact's official Twitch and YouTube will stream the version 5.4 special program on the date. A trailer for the update, as well as the full livestream, can be watched later on YouTube. So, you're free to circle back and not miss a thing if the stream times are early for you.
What to Expect from the Genshin Impact 5.4 Livestream?
As the name suggests, the version 5.4 livestream will reveal everything about the update. Typically that includes details on all featured banners, new character kits, story content, QoL changes, Primogems codes, and all version events.
QoL changes will be briefed earlier in the same week, and we already have confirmation on the new character, which is Mizuki. Everything else has also been leaked, so here's what all you expect to hear during the stream:
- Mizuki gameplay and breakdown.
- Banner schedule for Mizuki with potential reruns for Wriothesley, Furina, and Sigewinne.
- QoL changes.
- Gameplay for all version events (an Inazuma main event and fishing, filmmaking, and tower battle regular events).
- A version trailer highlighting all we have mentioned above.
All in all, there isn't anything blockbuster about the version if leaks are true and HoYoverse does not have any surprises up their sleeves. The versions following 5.4 should be more exciting with a couple of expansions as well as the last remaining tribe from Natlan.
In the meantime, check out guides for all version 5.3 characters—Mavuika, Citlali, Clorinde, and Arlecchino.
