FUT Ballers is a brand new promo that EA revealed via a loading screen earlier in the week, set to be introduced to Ultimate Team this Friday.
The announcement of the FUT Ballers event came out of nowhere, with FIFA players previously expecting to see the annual FUT Birthday promo return.
With much speculation surrounding the new campaign, Ultimate Team fans want to know what the FUT Ballers promo is actually all about.
Well, we've got you covered. Find out all the details we know so far about the FUT Ballers event in FIFA 23 below.
What is FUT Ballers?
As the FUT Ballers promo is completely new, we can only use leaks to help us speculate on what the campaign could entail, with EA having confirmed nothing concrete just yet.
The ever-reliable Fut Sheriff revealed via Twitter that the promo will not involve any players released into packs.
Instead, EA will be releasing the FUT Ballers items exclusively via Squad Building Challenges and Objectives.
The FUT Ballers items will be eligible for further upgrades via 'Play to style Objectives'.
We don't yet know what the Play to style Objectives will entail but more information will be made clear by EA soon.
Based on the 'Ballers' title, we expect to see the world's most skilful players included, with the likes of Neymar Jr and Allan Saint-Maximin springing to mind.
Whether Icons and/or FUT Heroes are involved remains to be seen, but Ronaldinho would be a standout candidate here.
Player leaks
We haven't seen too many FUT Ballers leaks as of yet, with just a couple of players rumoured to be handed special items during the promo.
One of those players is Chelsea's academy graduate Mason Mount.
The England international's special item is set to be released via a SBC, with a 91 OVR card potentially in the works.
The 24-year-old's FUT Ballers card could boast 99 Shooting along with 92 Passing, 89 Dribbling and 85 Pace and would fit perfectly into Premier League sides in FUT 23.
The other FUT Baller to have been leaked already is another Englishman, 29-year-old Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Liverpool centre-mid is yet to receive a special card in this year's game, so selecting him makes a lot of sense.
Despite his Base overall rating being 77, the well-rounded nature of Oxlade-Chamberlain's card means that with a significant boost to an OVR in the high 80s, we could be looking at a truly top-tier item.
EA could choose to boost the former Arsenal man's defending stat to 99, making him one of the best box-to-box CMs in the game.
