Much to the excitement of FUT players, one World Cup History Maker Player Item and one Icon or FUT Hero Item will be made available to unlock for free in FUT 23.

How to claim FREE History Maker
Unlocking your free World Cup History Maker could not be simpler.
All you need to do is play FIFA 23 on or before Tuesday, 3 January.
It really is that simple - if you launch FIFA 23 before Tuesday, 3 January you will receive the following items in Ultimate Team:
- 1x World Cup History Maker Item (Untradeable)
- 1x Icon or FUT Hero Item (7-match loan)
The two players you receive will come as a pair and will be linked by their nationality.
For example, if you are really lucky you could receive Kylian Mbappe and Zinedine Zidane.
EA has now confirmed the release date for the World Cup History Maker Items in Ultimate Team.
