The end of the European season is approaching but with this list of FIFA 23 best young left wingers you can re-write history. While leagues across Europe are reaching the end of their season, FIFA 23 will let you start all over again and lead your team to glory.
To do so you will want these quality young left wingers that can turn defenders inside-out and score for fun. They will be expensive to buy, but for some they are the peak of their powers right now. While EA Sports FC is approaching, FIFA 23 remains the best way to play virtual football!
Best young left wingers in FIFA 23 Career Mode
What makes someone eligible for this list? Well, firstly they have to primarily play left wing. Strikers or right wingers who can fill in on the left aren't included here. We want natural, primary-position centre backs only. There are some players who are adept at multiple positions though, and we will include them.
The second part is age. We are only looking at players that start FIFA 23 career mode aged between 20 and 24. Those younger than that fall into the wonderkid left wingers bracket, while obviously anyone older than that has aged out!
Vinicius Jr (OVR 86 - POT 92)
Team: Real Madrid
Age: 21
Nation: Brazil
There couldn't really be another name at the top of this list other than Vinicius Jr. The Real Madrid star has already been worth the reported €46 million Madrid paid Flamengo for him when he was still a teenager. Vini has grown into one of the most dangerous wingers in world football already and still has room to get better.
In FIFA 23 Vinicius Jr is a thrilling winger to use. He's got 95 sprint speed, 95 acceleration, 94 agility, and 92 dribbling to be one of the most destructive dribblers in the game. He's also got 84 finishing to be a deadly goal scorer.
Marcus Rashford (OVR 85 - POT 88)
Team: Man United
Age: 24
Nation: England
Marcus Rashford has had a wild journey for someone who is just 24 and hasn't moved club. He debuted for Man United at 18 and was brilliant out of the gate before seemingly burning out. A recent revival has seen him bag 16 PL goals to date and be one of the most threatening attackers in the league.
Rashford is a rapid goal-scorer who can definitely play at the top of the park, but is well-suited to the left wing too. He's got 92 sprint speed, 86 acceleration, and 86 dribbling, but it is his 93 shot power and 86 finishing that really makes him a brilliant player in career mode.
Rafael Leao (OVR 84 - POT 90)
Team: AC Milan
Age: 23
Nation: Portugal
Leao made his name with Sporting CP, rising through their youth ranks and barely making it to the first team before he was snapped up by Lille in somewhat controversial manner. He didn't stay there for long before a European giant came calling though. In 2019 he got a move to AC Milan for €35 million and already looks like great value after helping them to a Scudetto in 2022 and the UCL semi-final in 2023.
Like the others, Rafael Leao is a dribbly boy. He's got 92 sprint speed, 92 acceleration, 89 dribbling, and 86 ball control. His 80 finishing and 80 shot power aren't as good as Vinicius or Rashford though.
Phil Foden (OVR 84 - POT 90)
Team: Man City
Age: 22
Nation: England
Phil Foden is that rare thing, a true world-class and home-grown talent at a massive club. He joined the Man City academy at the age of nine and rose through the ranks. He was singled out for praise by Pep Guardiola while still in the junior teams. He debuted in 2017 for City and has become a key part of their, and England's, success.
Foden is unlike the others on this list. He's a creative ball-playing winger with 90 ball control, 85 short passing, and 82 long passing his primary skills. While he does have 91 balance and 86 dribbling, his comparative lack of speed means he won't be taking fullbacks on one-on-one with much success.
Federico Chiesa (OVR 84 - POT 87)
Team: Juventus
Age: 24
Nation: Italy
The son of Italian striker Enrico Chiesa, Federico came up with Fiorentina, getting his first-team debut with them at the age of 18, before getting a big loan-to-buy move to Juventus in 2020.
Chiesa is back to the more typical mould. His 91 sprint speed, 91 acceleration, and 89 dribbling means he will certainly be a threat to beat defenders one-on-one while his 86 shot power, 84 long shots, and 80 finishing are all good for his position.
