eFootball Licenses: BRAND NEW teams added

A brand new update has landed for eFootball, which has seen the game go from eFootball 2022 to eFootball 2023.

With the new football season underway, eFootball 2023 has arrived a month earlier than EA's FIFA 23.

With a year comes new teams, and we've got you covered for all the licenses now available in eFootball.

eFootball 2023 Licenses

eFootball 2023 will see the return of two major Italian sides to the game, with Inter Milan and AC Milan signing with Konami.

NEW ADDITIONS - Brand new clubs have joined the eFootball roster

Liga BBVA MX will also arrive, bringing all 18 Mexican clubs, stunning replications of its players, and the addition of the historic Estadio Azteca.

These clubs will join the current roster of licensed teams which include:

  • Barcelona
  • Bayern Munich
  • Manchester United
  • Arsenal
  • Corinthians
  • Flamengo
  • Sao Paulo
  • River Plate

Italian giants Juventus will exit the game soon, with the Italian giants ending their exclusive deal with Konami.

eFootball Ambassadors

New ambassadors have also been added to eFootball 2023, with two Premier League stars signing with Konami.

Liverpool right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes have both joined the roster.

The two stars have joined Lionel Messi, Neymar and Takefusa Kubo as eFootball ambassadors.

eFootball 2023 Announcement

The official eFootball Twitter page released a thread outlining the new update and what fans can expect.

The full thread reads as follows:

In preparation for the new season, we will be updating eFootball™ 2022 to eFootball™ 2023 in late August.
More information will be available soon, so please stay tuned!
We will continue collecting as much feedback from our esteemed users as possible, and we will keep on improving and implementing new features to make the game even more enjoyable for even more football fans.
As a part of the update to eFootball™ 2023, your in-game assets and other data will be carried over.
Please kindly refer to the in-game announcement for information regarding the carryover process of in-game assets (eFootball™ Coins, GPs etc.) and other data.
