eFootball Announces NEW License

eFootball has wasted no time in snapping up their newest license, with Serie A side AC Monza announced.

Monza becomes the latest Italian club to make the move to eFootball, following in the footsteps of clubs like Juventus and AC Milan.

Monza were promoted from Serie B this season to Italy's top division, and eFootball acted fast in order to secure an exclusive deal with the club.

It remains to be seen how this will affect the club's status in FIFA 23, but we'd expect unlicensed kits and names to feature for AC Monza.

eFootball Licenses

Konami currently owns the rights to Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Manchester United, Arsenal, Corinthians, Flamengo, Sao Paulo and River Plate, all of whom feature in eFootball.

The nine clubs confirmed so far are:

  • Barcelona
  • Bayern Munich
  • Juventus
  • Manchester United
  • Arsenal
  • Corinthians
  • Flamengo
  • Sao Paulo
  • River Plate

Konami may be set to lose Juventus from that list, with Italy's Old Lady reportedly returning to FIFA 23.
