We're not exactly complaining, but Respawn Entertainment has opted to skip Wattson and decided to give Revenant his Heirloom a little earlier than we expected. It's a pretty awesome item though, so we'll let them off.
It's available from the start of the Genesis Collection Event and here's everything you need to know about how you can unlock the Revenant Heirloom for yourself.
How To Unlock It During The Event?
This one is actually pretty easy. Apex Legend Heirloom items are VERY rare. Apex Legends players are only guaranteed one after opening about 500 Apex Packs. That's A LOT of Apex Coins if you're trying to work that one out.
That's still going to cost you a lot of Apex Coins, but if you're buying a couple anyway... It still works out a lot cheaper than going the Apex Packs route.
What About After It's Over?
This is the bit where we break everyone's hearts, sort of. After the Genesis Collection Event is all done and dusted... The only way to unlock the Revenant Heirloom item in-game will be through the Apex Packs method and via Heirloom Crafting. That's news straight from the Nessie's mouth, Respawn Entertainment themselves.
Heirloom Crafting isn't quite so bad as the Apex Packs method, but it's still going to take a while. Every now and then, you may have already noticed that you get Heirloom Shards in Apex Packs. When you get around 150 of these bad boys, you can craft your very own Heirloom of your choosing!
This makes it arguably the best way to get an Heirloom because you actually get to choose what Heirloom you're getting. However... It's still a bit of a grind as these don't drop very often.
Still... How could you not like this incredibly terrifying spooky robot and his Grim Reaper Scythe...
