The long-awaited Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto collaboration has officially been revealed, leaving many fans wondering if Nike has announced a release date yet.

The Hello Kitty Presto's first emerged in 2004 but never saw a full retail release. Instead, just 12 or so pairs were gifted to friends and family, making the originals some of the most elusive sneakers to get hold of.

Fortunately, the latest Hello Kity Presto's will receive a full retail launch as part of a wider Hello Kitty x Nike collection also in the works for 2022.

Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto Release Date

Although originally rumoured to arrive on 2 May, then again on the 27 May, we can now confirm the Hello Kitty Air Presto's are out now.

The launch aligns with the original rumoured release date at some point this spring.

Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto Design

The new Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto's will see the sneakers come dressed in a slightly different colour palette to the 2004 originals.

Rather than the white and black colour schemes, the new Air Presto's feature University Blue uppers teamed with white midsoles, laces and moulded overlays.

The Sanrio character's face is also scattered across the uppers, while the tongues feature the iconic red bow matched by the red lace aglets.

The Hello Kitty character can also be found on the modified heel overlays which feed into the caged lattice around the lateral and medial sides.

The insoles also feature a unique Hello Kitty rainbow graphic which has been rendered in more detail below.

Finally, the shoe box comes decorated in special Hello Kitty and Nike co-branding, thus rounding off the design elements for these highly anticipated sneakers.

Where To Buy The Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto
