The long-rumoured Hello Kitty x Nike collaboration is seemingly confirmed following images of co-branded apparel surfacing, leaving many fans speculating when we might see the collection drop.
The pictures provide more context to reports from back in August 2021 suggesting that the extremely limited Hello Kitty x Nike Air Presto from 2004 might be making a return in the near future.
While information surrounding the sneakers is limited, we now have a detailed look at the accompanying clothing which could indicate that the Air Presto's will be making an appearance very soon.

Hello Kitty x Nike Collaboration Release Date
There are currently no details available regarding the release of the Hello Kitty x Nike collection, with the only real information we have being a handful of images of the potential sneakers and accompanying apparel.
However, some reports suggest we could see the collection drop sooner rather than later in 2022, with a Spring arrival looking most likely.
Take this with a pinch of salt though as neither Nike nor Hello Kitty creator Sanrio has confirmed this information.

Hello Kitty x Nike Collaboration Designs
As the world awaits confirmation of the sneakers, images have recently surfaced of the co-branded clothing which includes a fairly simple white t-shirt and light blue board shorts.
Upon closer inspection, the white top combines a Nike Air graphic in black with the Hello Kitty logo just beneath.
The design as a whole is then placed in the centre of the shirt, with the same image also featuring on the black, but blown up larger to fill most of the available space.
The shorts differ slightly by donning an all-over print of the classic cat character to contrast the light blue base.
In terms of the sneakers, we are yet to see updated images of the designs which is unsurprising given there's so much speculation surrounding them.
As a result, it's unclear whether the 2022 release will be a brand new colourway or simply a retro remake of the original five from 2004, two of which can be seen below.
If Nike does go down the retro route, expect to see white and black variations of the Air Presto's featuring similar all-over Hello Kitty graphics across the fabric uppers as the previously mentioned board shorts.
Hello Kitty x Nike Collaboration Price
As of right now, it's hard to know exactly how much the sneakers, top, and shorts will cost without an official listing.
While the clothing collection will likely retail for around a similar price to standard Nike apparel, the cost of the sneakers remains a mystery given the 2004 release saw most of the shoes handed to friends and family, so never became available to the general public.
While it's not much to go off, regular Air Presto's currently retail for around $150, however, we expect the Hello Kitty collaboration to cost slightly more than that.

It's highly likely the first place we'll see any of the Hello Kitty collection listed is at Nike.com.
For the sneakers, Nike may unveil them via its SNKRS page or App. If so, we'd recommend signing up for the push notifications as soon as the listing goes live.
