Zion Williamson and Nike have wasted little time creating new signature sneakers for the New Orleans Pelicans star, with the latest addition to his collection being a new Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Voodoo" colourway.

Williamson himself took to Instagram to announce their arrival whilst also celebrating the release of his second signature Jordan Zion 2s with their matching Voodoo-inspired aesthetic.

Their upcoming release will see them join Williamson's "Hope Diamond" Zion 2s as well, making the following few months an exciting time to be a Zion fan despite his recent injury woes.

When Is The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Voodoo Release Date?

Williamson gave very little away about the "Voodoo" 1s in his unboxing video, with the main takeaway being that we should 'stay tuned' for more news about their release in the future.

However, some outlets are reporting that the sneakers are expected to arrive at some point during the 2022 holiday season.

That being said, it doesn't seem like anything has been confirmed by Nike just yet, so make sure you check back in as we'll be keeping this article updated with any future announcements regarding their release.

Air Jordan 1 Low OG Voodoo Design

As mentioned, this original design inspired by the African-born religious movement is based on the new Jordan Zion 2 "Voodoo" colourway.

Revealed in Williamson's video, we can see how the low-top 1s closely resemble the Flax, Muslin, Fauna Brown, and Oil Green colour scheme used for the Zion 2s; however, the laces have been switched to white to match the midsoles.

They also appear to utilise a similar mix of hemp, canvas, and suede in their construction. As an aside, check out our guides on cleaning suede and canvas shoes right here.

Additional Voodoo motifs include the skull logo towards the heels, the flipped Nike branding on the tongues, and the exposed crossed stitching throughout.

Make sure you stay tuned for more images of the sneakers once Nike officially reveals the colourway.

Air Jordan 1 Low OG Voodoo Price

It's currently being reported that these Voodoo-inspired sneakers will cost $170 upon their arrival.

This would make them more expensive than most Jordan 1 Low releases, although this could be due to the addition of Zion Williamson's name value.

Where To Buy The Air Jordan 1 Low OG Voodoo

We believe one of the first places you'll likely find a listing for these signature sneakers will be the Nike store under the Jordan, basketball, or new releases subsections.

We'd also recommend subscribing to the push notifications as soon as the listing appears on the SNKRS launch page so you're completely prepared for their arrival

Alternatively, check out the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair on release day is unsuccessful.
