Before we get to PES 2022, we've still got a couple of months of the season remaining - as well as Euro 2020.

We are however only likely to see one or two more Data Packs on PES 2021, as Konami shift focus onto PES 2022 for Next Gen consoles.

So what can we expect from Data Pack 5?

Data Pack 5 Release Date

This is unknown as of yet, but the community thinks it could arrive on Thursday, 8 April.

Given Data Pack 5 for PES 2020 arrived on 5 March last year, we are long overdue for a new patch from Konami.

Patch Notes

Konami does not release an official patch notes, but instead prefers to issue a string of Tweets with the key highlights from the Data Pack.

New Kits

Perhaps the most likely aspect of the next Data Pack would be new kits surrounding national teams.

STRIPPING OFF - Pro Evo has kept kits up to date ahead of Euro 2020

EURO 2020 qualified teams Belgium, Germany, Hungary, Russia, Spain and Sweden all showed off new Adidas kits in the most recent international break - so expect them all to feature in Data Pack 5.

Adidas have been busy, also producing new kits for Lionel Messi's Argentina as well as Colombia and Mexico.

Player Faces

Konami has been very good at keeping on top of player hairstyles, so expect the latest barnets for the likes of Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Adama Traore.

BUZZ CUT - Neymar's looks are often changed in PES Data Packs

Players with computer-generated faces can hope to receive brand new face scans - but this has been very difficult this year due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Dusan Tadic, Adama Traore and Jack Grealish were all updated in Data Pack 4.

New Balls & Boots

We can expect the arrival of the latest boots from Adidas, Nike, Umbro & more - as well as any new balls that have arrived for PES's licensed leagues.

Master League Managers

We haven't seen this since Steven Gerrard on Data Pack 2, but there is always a hope Konami will add new gaffers for us to use on Master League.

DUCK TO WATER - Steven Gerrard won the Scottish Premiership in just his second season with Rangers

With the Euros just two months away, perhaps we could see international managers like Gareth Southgate, Roberto Martinez, Didier Deschamps and Roberto Mancini.

Iconic Moment Series

New Iconic Moments will arrive for PES legends in the Iconic Moment Series.

Perhaps it will start to look ahead to Euro 2020 and bring us classic performances from years gone by.

Here's who we could see:

  • Franz Beckenbauer (1972) - captaining West Germany to the title
  • Karl-Heinz Rummenigge (1980) - winner vs Czechoslovakia in semi-final
  • Marco van Basten (1988) - that volley in final vs USSR
  • Pavel Nedved (1996) - goal vs Italy
  • Xavi (2008) - semi-final goal vs Russia
  • Fernando Torres (2008) - winning goal in final vs Germany
  • Andrea Pirlo (2012) - Panenka penalty vs England
  • Andres Iniesta (2012) - Man of the Match in final vs Italy
  • Cristiano Ronaldo (2016) - winning header vs Wales in semi-final
