NBA 2K22 Season 2 has just been revealed, and it will bring some massive content to the game across all game modes.
But the biggest announcement of NBA 2K22 Season 2 is Rebirth, a new feature that will allow players to reset their MyPLAYER builds to get a new head start for free!
This will be the first time in NBA 2K players will be able to effectively reset their builds from MyCAREER, and will allow players to save a lot of money and time grinding up a different build to fix choices or even just shake things up.
Here's how to reset your NBA 2K22 MyPLAYER build for FREE in Season 2.
NBA 2K22 Rebirth - How to Reset your Build for Free
Rebirth is an unlockable reward in NBA 2K22 Season 2, a feature that players must reach some requirements for first.
Rebirth is something you can use more than once, but 2K hasn't stated yet if there will be an eventual cap on Rebirth saves.
Here are the steps you'll need in order to be able to reset and redo your MyPLAYER build from MyCAREER.
Reach 90 OVR
This requirement may be the toughest for players who quit their build a little early due to poor decisions or wanting to try a new role.
No matter if you play on current or next gen, this requirement is necessary to be able to unlock Rebirth saves for your MyPLAYERs.
Complete 10 3v3 or 10 2v2 City games (Next Gen only)
This requirement is just for next gen players, and can only be started after you obtain the quest from ATM by the NBA Store and Club 2K.
You must reach 90 OVR first on your MyPLAYER before playing these games for them to count, as playing them while 90 OVR is a requirement.
Complete 10 3v3 games (Current Gen only)
This requirement is just for current gen players, and can only be started after you reach 90 OVR on the MyPLAYER you use for the games.

What NBA 2K22 Rebirth Offers in Season 2
Once you unlock Rebirth in NBA 2K22 Season 2, things will differ depending on whether you're playing on current or next gen.
For both sides, though, Rebirth will be a new type of save file available when creating a new MyPLAYER. While you can make multiple Rebirth save file MyPLAYERs, this may still have a cap, but 2K hasn't clarified it yet.
For Next Gen players, Rebirth will offer the following to your new MyPLAYER:
- 90 OVR boost
- 30 Badge Points
For Current Gen players, Rebirth will offer the following to your new MyPLAYER:
- Skip 10 pre-completed MyPOINTS levels
- 20 Badge Points
Beyond these 2K states Rebirth saves will get a massive head start in all categories, so there could be more as well.

Will Rebirth refund VC spent on MyPLAYERS?
Rebirth won't refund your VC in NBA 2K22, but rather give you an extra boost to your next MyPLAYER saves.
This will help alleviate the pressure on players that choose to spend money to get enough VC to compete online immediately, as well as the time requirements for grinding badges and rating.
