NBA 2K21 received a massive new patch with Update 1.06 - and Current Gen is receiving some additional love with its own new update.
This update brings the holiday spirit to NBA 2K21 2K Beach on current gen.
Latest News - Will Winter Madness Return in NBA 2K21?
Winter Madness is a fan favorite Christmas Event in the NBA 2K series, and with no Winter holiday event on the table right now for NBA 2K21 - we may just see it return.
While we've seen some cosmetic updates to NBA 2K21 next gen with Update #5 bringing snow and more to 2K Beach, we are expecting a big Winter event for NBA 2K21 next gen. Winter Madness could very well fit that bill.
NBA 2K21 Winter Holiday
The Winter holiday has arrived to NBA 2K21, in perfect time for the first Winter snow in many regions.
The holiday can be seen on 2K Beach in NBA 2K21 current gen, where players can now experience themed courts and see snow when tearing up opponents online.
This will be the first appearance for the Winter Holiday in NBA 2K21, as we've gotten no word on when the snow will hit NBA 2K21 next gen and The City.
NBA 2K21 Patch Notes
Current Gen Update #5 is a very small update, despite its 24 GB download size.
It's certainly less than what players received in the NBA 2K21 Update 1.06 - despite this update being bigger by 2 GB.
Still, let's dive into the new minor NBA 2K21 patch.
- Winter holiday has arrived at 2K Beach with new seasonal decorations and themed courts now available.
- MyCOURT’s Limitless free throw drill is now set to use the 2K camera setting.
- Added Online VS, the difficulty used in MyTEAM Unlimited & Limited, to Play With Friends games.
While this new update does give us a look into what will soon make its way to The City on NBA 2K21 next gen, the real big NBA 2K21 update today is Patch 1.06.
