NBA 2K20: All the best 3 point shooters – Curry, Harris, Green & more

Shooting the three ball well can be a game changer. Here’s the players who do that best.

Tom Young by Tom Young

The era of the 3-pointer has changed the shape of the NBA, perhaps forever. Maybe it won’t last, but right now the ability to hit a 3 consistently is the best way to win games, and that goes for NBA 2K20 too.

There are plenty of good three point shooters in NBA 2K20, in fact there are seven who have been given the highest grade of an A+ when it comes to shooting from deep.

Here we are going to take a more in depth look at these players and work out which one is the very best at shooting that three ball.

Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors

Who else? The Golden State man is the best three point shooter in NBA 2K20. With a A+ grading on his three point shooting and hot zones in every single area around the perimeter of the arc alongside an A- IQ, which will improve your chances of keeping the ball with the Warriors PG. Chef Curry will be dishing out the three’s all over the court for you in NBA 2K20.

Joe Harris, Brooklyn Nets

Like Steph, the Brooklyn Nets Joe Harris can also drain a three from anywhere around the arc. With 5/5 hot zones, you can use the 28-year-old wherever you may find him free. The off season acquisitions of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have made the Nets a much more attractive team in 2K, and with Harris’ threes thrown into the mix, they are one of the stronger sides to use in the game.

Danny Green, Miami Heat

Miami Heat’s Danny Green is the next name to appear in our list of the best three point shooters in 2K20. The Bulls SG comes in with 4/5 hot zones from deep, with the top left corner from three point range his only regular zone. Throw a B+ IQ into the mix and you have a very consistent three point shooter.

Buddy Hield, Sacramento Kings

Another player with four hot zones is the Sacramento Kings’ shooting guard Buddy Hield. Whilst we would advise you play down the right with Danny Green, we would recommend the left with Buddy Hield, as that is where you will find the most success. Hield is the main man in the Kings lineup once again this year, so opposition defences on 2K will try to shut him down quickly, you will have to work hard to find the space.

Bojan Bogdanovic, Utah Jazz

The Utah Jazz are seen by many as a potential dark horse in a stacked Western Conference this year, and if Bojan Bogdanovic can keep up his hot form from deep, then who knows what the year might hold. On 2K he has a respectable 3/5 hot zones from three point range. If you can find him free in the corners, you will have a lot of success.

Klay Thompson, Golden State Warriors

The second half of the infamous Splash Brother pairing, Klay Thompson. Like his Golden State teammate, Klay is a danger for opposition defenses, especially from beyond the arc. The right-hand side is undoubtedly the way to go with Thompson, but if you find yourself open on the left, don’t be afraid to have a crack.

JJ Redick, New Orleans Pelicans

NBA veteran JJ Redick is the oldest player in the list of the best three point shooters in NBA 2K20, and whilst he may have a new club to contend with in the form of the New Orleans Pelicans, he certainly still knows how to shoot the three ball. The left-hand side is the way forward, find him free down there and you will rain down threes.
