FM21 Wonderkids: French youngster has the highest potential on the game

There are plenty of wonderkids in FM21 and by picking them up, you'll save yourself a lot of money in the future.

Whilst there are plenty of youngsters with the potential to shoot to the top of the game, there is one in particular the Sports Interactive value much higher than anyone else.

Here is what you need to know.

Eduardo Camavinga

The man in question is Rennes French midfielder, Eduardo Camvinga.

Despite being just 18-years-old, the central midfielder has become a mainstay in Julien Stephan's side and has already bagged himself three caps for his country.

His form has seen the Frenchman linked with a big-money move to the likes of Manchester United in recent weeks, so this could be your last chance to get him at a cut-price in Football Manager!

FM21 Rating

Let's dive into the ratings for the French youngster.

Current Ability

At the beginning of your FM save, Camavinga will have a CA of 136, which isn't bad, but it's not great either.

14-17 anticipation, 13-17 composure and 12-16 marking are the top three stats for the Stade Rennais man, who has a value of around £20M and is listed as a Regular Starter for Rennes.

His 19k p/w wages are reflective of the low budget that Rennes have, and will be key in any deal that you try to make with the Frenchman.

Potential Ability

This is where things get a little crazy.

Camavinga is the ONLY player in FM21 to have a potential ability range of 170-200.

What does this mean? Well it would put him on a par with the likes of Lionel Messi (CA 195), Cristiano Ronaldo (CA 194) and the current top-rated midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne (CA 188)

So to put it simply, for £20-30M and around £20k per week you could bag yourself a player who has the potential to become the very best in FM21!
