FIFA 23 Worst Teams: Avoid these clubs at ALL costs

The anticipation for the release of FIFA 23 is building amongst the FIFA community, with the official date a matter of weeks away now.

We've already filled you in on the best teams to use in order to dominate FIFA 23 Kick Off and Career Mode, so now it's time to highlight the teams you must avoid at all costs.

Take a look at the six worst teams in the entirety of FIFA 23 below.

Hebei FC

It's rock bottom for the Chinese Super League club, Hebei FC. With an overall squad rating of 53 OVR, no team is currently rated lower in the entire game.

We expect the team based in Langfang, Hebei to remain the lowest-rated team in FIFA 23, given that the latest FIFA 22 update has them dead last.

Longford Town

Ireland First Division side Longford Town Football Club is officially the second-worst team in FIFA, with a squad rating of 54 OVR.

With no single player rated above 58 OVR, the Irish club based in Longford will no doubt be a struggle to use in FIFA 23.

Guangzhou FC

The second CSL club on the list is Guangzhou FC, formerly known as Guangzhou Evergrande Taobao Football Club, which has a squad rating of 55 OVR.

With a few standout players rated above 67 OVR, you may get a tiny amount of joy from playing with this Chinese Super League team.

Gaz Metan Medias

Romanian second division side Clubul Sportiv Gaz Metan Medias, commonly known as Gaz Metan, comes into FIFA 23 with a 55 OVR squad rating.

Based in Medias, Sibiu County, Gaz Metan doesn't boast the most spectacular group of players, to say the least.

Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic

Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic arrives at fifth place, with a squad rating of 56 OVR and an improved 62 OVR attack, largely down to one man in particular.

Star striker Luiz Fernando Pereira da Silva presents some hope for the CSL club, with the 74-rated Brazilian forward possessing four-star skill moves and good pace up top.

Drogheda United

Semi-professional Irish association football club Drogheda United, who play in the League of Ireland Premier Division, will no doubt be one of the lowest rated squads in FIFA 23, with a current OVR rating of 57.

Playing their home matches at Head In The Game Park, the first team boasts an almost fully Irish starting XI.
