FIFA 23 partners with Serie A each month to bring you a brand-new POTM SBC item in Ultimate Team.
Once the nominees are selected, you can vote for your favourite Serie A player from the month to help them gain an upgraded card.
Whoever gains the most votes will receive a new special item via SBC in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team with massively boosted attributes!
Serie A POTM May Nominees Revealed
Five nominees from five different clubs make up the May nominees list for the Serie A POTM award, with one coming from title champions Napoli.
However, there is a clear frontrunner for an upgraded card via SBC in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, with Inter's Romelu Lukaku scoring four in three matches as he continues his personal purple patch in the season.
The following players have been nominated for Serie A's May Player of the Month award:

- Matteo Pessina

Throughout the season the following players have won the Serie A POTM award:
August - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia
Napoli's new signing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia hit the ground running, with three goals and an assist earning him the August Player of the Month award.
No SBC was released as FIFA 23 was not yet available.
September - Kim Min Jae (OVR 82)
Another Napoli player and another of their new signings picked up September's Player of the Month award, with Kim Min Jae the recipient.
An 82 OVR SBC item followed and if you added a Shadow to him he gained the stats of an 88-rated CB!
October - Rafael Leao (OVR 87)
Two goals, an assist and four wins from four saw AC Milan's Rafael Leao grab the Serie A POTM award for October.
At the time he was one of the best attacking cards in the game and was very popular with FUT fans.
November - Moise Kean (OVR 87)
Moise Kean only needed two games to be awarded the November POTM award, scoring three times in a couple of outings.
Although he was given an 87 OVR, he could gain the stats of a 93-rated ST with the right chemistry style and only cost around 30,000 coins!
December - no winner due to FIFA World Cup
January - Victor Osimhen (OVR 88)
Victor Osimhen scored five and assisted once in five league matches during January which was enough to earn the Nigerian striker an 88 OVR POTM card.
Arguably the most prolific goalscorer in world football right now, Osimhen's POTM item boasts 95 Pace, 94 Finishing and 90 Strength.
February - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia OVR 86)
Kvaratskhelia registered three goals and one assist in four league appearances in February - a month in which Napoli won all four of their matches.
The Georgian winger was rewarded with an 86 OVR Player of the Month SBC item with 90 Pace, 88 Dribbling, 83 Passing and 80 Shooting.
March - Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (OVR 88)
Napoli sensation Khvicha Kvaratskhelia made it back-to-back Serie A Player of the Month wins after he netted another two goals and provided one assist in March.
Kvaratskhelia's March POTM SBC item was rated at 88 OVR with 92 Pace, 90 Dribbling, 85 Passing and 82 Shooting.
April - Rafael Leao (OVR 90)
Rafael Leao claimed his second Serie A POTM award in April, with AC Milan going unbeaten in the month.
He bagged a couple of braces and also provided an assist, getting rewarded with a 90 OVR SBC item that could be unlocked for just 75,000 coins.
