Following a hugely successful 2021/22 campaign, we were expecting some huge ratings within the Liverpool side, and we weren't wrong!

Latest - Official Stats Revealed & Full Squad Leak
FIFA 23 ratings reveal season is here, with the first Liverpool star to have their stats revealed coming when the ambassadors were unveiled, showing that Virgil van Dijk has been upgraded to a 90 OVR.
More official ratings followed with the Top 23 highest-rated players displayed, with Mohamed Salah also gaining a boost to 90 OVR, and Alisson retaining his 89 OVR.
Of the Top 25 best Premier League players, Liverpool had six on the list, with Fabinho (87 OVR), Andrew Robertson (87 OVR) and Trent Alexander-Arnold (87 OVR) joining their previously mentioned teammates.

Top Players
Liverpool couldn't complete their historic quadruple, missing out on the two big trophies in the Premier League and Champions League.
Nevertheless, it was another brilliant campaign with lots of their players likely to get upgrades in FIFA 23, and their three highest-rated stars will be:
Mohamed Salah (OVR 90)
Mohamed Salah received a rather strange downgrade at the start of FIFA 22, however, this has been rectified in FIFA 23 with a bump up to 90 OVR.
The Egyptian was the joint-winner of the Golden Boot last term, finishing as Liverpool's top scorer and providing the most assists of any Premier League player.
Virgil van Dijk (OVR 90)
Although many believe the Dutch defender hasn't been as imperious as in previous seasons, Virgil van Dijk has seen his rating increase to a 90 OVR.
The Liverpool legend will no doubt be one of the most sought-after defenders in the game, bullying attackers and dominating ariel duels.
Alisson (OVR 89)
Alisson is one of the best goalkeepers around and has deservedly kept his 89 OVR.
He shared the Premier League Golden Glove last season with his national teammate and club rival Ederson.
Transfers
Sadio Mane leaving the side is possibly the biggest transfer news for Liverpool, although the signing of Darwin Nunez for a reported £85 million will excite fans.
They've added a couple of young prospects in Fabio Carvalho and Calvin Ramsay and brought in a backup for their injury-prone midfield with Arthur arriving on loan.

Upgrades
We've already mentioned that Salah and van Dijk will be getting an upgrade, and there are a few others that will join them in FIFA 23.
Massive increases are on the way for Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz, with both of them excelling in Liverpool's forward line, showing they should be regular starters instead of backups to the usual front three.
Downgrades
There aren't too many downgrades on their way for this Liverpool side, with the most notable one looking to come for club captain Jordan Henderson and Robert Firmino.
Joe Gomez is also leaked to take a hit, but we still think he will be an early FUT fan favourite.
