LATEST- Chemistry redefined
FUT 23 will see some huge changes introduced to the chemistry system.
EA has completely overhauled the chemistry system, making it easier than ever to assemble your dream squad.
Some of the key changes are:
- No negative impact on attributes caused by low chemistry.
- Overall squad chemistry has been removed. Individual player chemistry is the focus.
- Positional links have been removed.
- The Loyalty system has been removed.
Click here to see how the new chemistry system works in FUT 23.
As confirmed during the reveal trailer, FIFA 23 will be fully released on Friday, 30 September.
The 10-hour EA Play trial gives players a limited number of hours of gaming too and will begin at the same time as pre-order early access.
Confirmed FUT 23 Icons:
- David Beckham
- Johan Cruyff
- Zinedine Zidane
FIVE NEW Icons leaked
Prolific leaker DonkTrading has revealed some brand new Icons set to arrive in FIFA 23, with both of these names coming as blasts from the past.
Zico, a former Brazil international who played as an attacking midfielder is confirmed to arrive in the brand new game, with the Samba star set to bring some classic flair to the game.
The other leaked star is Gerd Muller, arguably the finest goalscoring force of his generation.
Muller scored nearly 400 goals during his time with Bavarian giants Bayer Munich, and you can be sure that he will be honoured with an incredibly high-rated card.
Robben and Villa LEAKED
Both Alfredo Di Stefano and David Villa have reportedly been added to the game code, with the two legends of the Spanish league set to become main players in our Ultimate Teams next season.
With Villa reportedly having been added to the code a few months back, we're not surprised to see the Spain, Barcelona, and Valencia legend finally leaked as one of FIFA 23's newest Icons.
Dutch winger Arjen Robben has also been leaked to arrive next season, and his potential cards could be sensational.
Another legendary forward has also been leaked in the form of Gabriel Batistuta, although there is uncertainty as to whether he will be an Icon or a Hero player.
There are several legendary players we want to see make a return to the game, so take a look at our favourites below.
The sad news that Sergio Aguero has had to retire from football has rocked the football world, but hopefully, we see him back in the game soon!
An Icon card would be no more than Aguero deserves after a wonderful career that has included five Premier League titles with Manchester City, and well over 350 goals.
There is a bit of a theme here, but our third player is also part of the Manchester City era of dominance with Belgian centre-back Vincent Kompany also a worthy candidate for an Icon card.
We actually see a FUT Heroes card as more likely for Kompany, but either way, we would expect the card to be awesome.
Fans have their say
The Icon ranks usually get bolstered by a handful of players each season, so we are expecting a few new faces ahead of the new game later this year.
FIFPlay has a live fan vote on their site where you can have your say on who you want to see arrive in FIFA 23.
Alfredo Di Stefano currently leads the fan poll, closely followed by cult-hero former Netherlands midfielder Edgar Davids.
We would love to see Davids rocking his trademark goggles in FUT 23, so make it happen EA!
