FIFA 22 TOTW 6: Mason Mount's Hat Trick to earn him a spot on the team

Another weekend of football is complete and it's time to see who's done enough to earn their way into the FIFA 22 TOTW for Week 6. There were some unreal performances across Europe but undoubtedly its was the Premier League when the stars shone the brightest.

Let's look at some of the biggest and best performances from the weekend who have a chance to earn their way into the team.

Mason Mount

While many will make the case that it was only Norwich - and particularly poor Norwich team at that - Mount still put in a strong showing and managed to bag himself a hat trick in the process. His blushes were spared late when a saved penalty was retaken due to Tim Krul being off his line.

In addition to his goalscoring, he also provided one assist in the game making it a truly complete performance.

Joshua King

This was clearly a match that Joshua King has circled on his calendar given how he feels about his time at Everton under Carlo Ancelotti. The Norwegian striker showed his old club exactly what they are missing out on by grabbing a hat trick in an emphatic 5-2 win for Watford.

King will hope the performance not only earns him a spot in the FIFA TOTW but also kickstarts his season overall as they're his first goals of the campaign.

Giovanni Simeone

While there has been some stellar performances in the Premier League this weekend, none come close to the day Gio Simeone had for Hellas Verona against Lazio.

He bagged a massive FOUR GOALS in a dominant performance which saw Verona attempt 16 total shots, 7 of which were on target. If he hasn't dont enough to earn a spot in this weeks FIFA TOTW then we're not too sure what he'll have to do to get in!
