Latest - Web App live
The FUT Web App went live on Wednesday, 22 September, with a mobile release following at some time on Thursday, 23 September.
This means you can start opening packs, setting up your team and tactics, and doing SBC's, all in preperation for when you get on the game.
For a lot, that will be during the 10-hour EA Play Trial, which was due to start on Wednesday, 22 September at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST.
However, it couldn't wait any longer, and was able to be downloaded and accessed a couple of hours before scheduled.
Get on now and play some games.
Ligue 1 Top XII?
Instead of a top XI squad, EA changed it up for Ligue 1.
They went for a mix of players, instead of just showing the best rated which would only have included players from PSG.
Top 100 confirmed
We have it at last, EA have confirmed all players that comprise the top 100 rated on FIFA 22.
There were a few changes at the top and some minor downgrades, but everyone you would expect has made the cut.
Make sure to check out the full list, and also the top players from the big five leagues below.
Serie A makes #4
Coming in at the same time as the top 100 announcement, the best Serie A team may have slipped under the radar for some.
It looks like the worst league for overall ratings, but a couple of gems like Theo Hernandez and Kessie will certainly catch the eye.
Bundesliga best
It was only a matter of time before another league followed.
There isn't as much strength in depth, but that is a formidable front two.
Goretzka and Davies will be FUT favourites, so be prepared to face down Bundesliga teams.
La Liga's top team
Following in the Premier League's footsteps, La Liga's top team was released.
It's a very strong team, but lacking pace and superstars seen in other leagues.
Absentees from the starting 11 include Ter Stegen, 90 OVR, and Courtois, 89 OVR.
It also didn't include future FUT favourite Marcos Llorente, 86 OVR, a CM with 88 PAC!
Best Prem players
After teasing us with the top 22 players on FIFA 22, EA has given us another tease.
That lineup doesn't even include Ederson, Alisson and Mane who are all rated 89 OVR, or Lukaku and Sterling who are both 88 OVR.
The Prem is looking very strong this season!
Top 22 highest-rated cards revealed
EA has revealed the highest rated cards in FIFA 22!
Messi claims the number one spot again this year, with a 93 OVR, whilst Lewandowski overtakes Cristiano Ronaldo and becomes the second highest-rated card in FIFA, with a 92 OVR.
CR7 still has a brilliant 91 OVR card though and is joined by De Bruyne, Neymar, Mbappe and Oblak, who all have a 91 OVR rating too.
The likes of Kane, Kante, Neuer and Ter Stegen all join the 90 club in FIFA 22 too.
Official ratings reveals ALL WEEK
The official FIFA 22 ratings will commence on Monday, 13 September, and continue all week.
EA could reveal the Top 100 first and then break the ratings down by position and/or league - but we will just have to wait and see.
Best of the reveals so far
The FIFA 22 ratings reveals have been coming thick and fast!
Robert Lewandowski (OVR 92)
After a record-breaking season, Robert Lewandowski is now ranked among the very best in the world!
With Lionel Messi remaining a 93 OVR, Robert Lewandowski overtook Cristiano Ronaldo with a huge 92 rating.
Kylian Mbappe (OVR 91)
Cover star Mbappe revealed his own card on social media, showing off his brand-new 91 OVR.
With boosts of +1 PAC, +2 SHO, +2 PAS, +1 DRI and +1 PHY to his stats, Mbappe is going to be even more lethal this season.
The new rating will surely put him in the top 10 players on the game too, and may even see him in the top 5.
Heung-min Son (OVR 89)
Heung-min Son is likely to be one of the Premier League's leading lights this season, and the South Korean receives a +2 upgrade for FIFA 22.
The left midfielder receives boosts of +1 PAC, +1 SHO, +2 PAS - whilst DEF and PHY stays the same and DRI falls -1.
Romelu Lukaku (OVR 88)
Beast mode is fully on at Chelsea. Romelu Lukaku has returned to Stamford Bridge and is ready to tear up the Premier League once more.
A proven goal scorer in England, Lukaku will strike fear into every defender in the country.
Erling Haaland (OVR 88)
Borussia Dortmund's goal machine Erling Haaland is a huge 88 OVR in FIFA 22.
Haaland showed consistency last season, firing his in-game rating up to 87 overall, and he has been rewarded further in FIFA 22.
Leon Goretzka (OVR 87)
This could be one of the biggest upgrades in FIFA 22.
Leon Goretzka's ratings flew up during the course of last season, with an 87 OVR being his reward in FIFA 22.
Alphonso Davies (OVR 82)
Alphonso Davies burst onto the scene two seasons ago, and it looks like the Canadian starlet has recovered his form following an ankle injury last season.
The speedy left back sees his OVR improve by +1, with PAS +2 but his DEF and PHY stats fall -1.
Jude Bellingham (OVR 79)
12 months ago, Jude Bellingham had played just one competitive season in the Championship for Birmingham, but that didn't stop him moving to Borussia Dortmund for £25 million.
Now, we see his OVR improve +10, thanks to +4 SHO, +9 PAS, +7 DRI, +20 DEF and +11 PHY, with PAC falling -2.
RealSport's Top 10 predictions
Ahead of the FIFA 22 Ratings reveal, we made our predictions for the top ten players in the game and their ratings.
In our list, there was only one change from last season, although a couple of the ratings have changed too.
We fully expect Lionel Messi to lead the way, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo. However, we expect CR7 to be joined by Robert Lewandowski with a 92 rating.
The only change sees two Premier League stars swap places, with French midfielder N'Golo Kante stepping up to 90 OVR and ousting Sadio Mane from the top ten.
- Lionel Messi (OVR 93)
- Cristiano Ronaldo (OVR 92)
- Robert Lewandowski (OVR 92)
- Jan Oblak (OVR 91)
- Neymar (OVR 91)
- Kevin De Bruyne (OVR 91)
- Kylian Mbappe (OVR 91)
- N'Golo Kante (OVR 90)
- Mohamed Salah (OVR 90)
- Virgil van Dijk (OVR 90)
It wasn't far off!
Seeing Salah and Van Dijk dropping a rating will have surprised some, with their places taken by goalkeepers and Harry Kane.
