Piemonte Calcio had a stinker of a season, and AC Milan were able to take advantage and secure a second-place finish in Serie A, behind city neighbours Inter Milan.
They will be hungry to improve and get the title, but that will be a big ask!
Can these new ratings for FIFA 22 inspire them to the top?
Latest News - Milan player ratings confirmed
One of the first teams to reveal ratings was AC Milan.
That Hernandez drop was massive, and more of the team followed with very decent looking cards!
Theo Hernandez (OVR 84)
Massive improvement confirmed for Theo Hernandez, with an 84 OVR!
Already a speedster at LB, at only 23 years old he will be highly sought after on Career Mode.
93 PAC will see him whizz past anyone in his way!
Zlatan Ibrahimovic (OVR 84)
With 15 goals in 19 appearances last season, Zlatan is still at it despite being 39!
No drop in rating for him just yet, despite that usually coming with an ageing player.
He keeps performing and that can't be ignored.
Mike Maignan (OVR 84)
A mainstay in the Lille team that won Ligue 1 last season, Maignan saw a slight improvement in his rating.
Brought in to replace the departing Donnarumma, those are some big gloves to fill.
Franck Kessie (OVR 84)
Appearing in all but one of Milan's games last term, Kessie got a greatly improved rating due to his consistency, not just last campaign but over the past few years.
A powerful midfield presence, Kessie can protect the defence well.
Simon Kjaer (OVR 83)
A defender that was slightly hampered by injury, Kjaer's form didn't suffer like his next club-mate on the list.
Performing well at club level and better at international, he captained Denmark to the semi-finals of Euro 2020.
Alessio Romagnoli (OVR 82)
No change here, as an injury-hit season saw him dropped from first-team action and replaced with Tomori.
He never quite recovered and bad form hampered him, missing out on the Italy squad as well.
Olivier Giroud (OVR 79)
Struggling for game time at Chelsea, Giroud will be hoping for more in Milan.
He scored a brace on his debut, and the FUT favourite will look to establish himself as a dominant striker in the league.
Fikayo Tomori (OVR 79)
Cementing his place in the Milan team, Tomori has had his loan move made permanent this season.
A speedy and agile centre back, he will be hot property in FUT.
Brahim Diaz (OVR 78)
An increased rating has been confirmed.
On loan from Real Madrid, Brahim Diaz will be looking for a phenomenal season to force his way into the Madrid team in the future.
Sandro Tonali (OVR 77)
Another rating confirmed, but no improvement here.
An all-round midfielder, Tonali can create and defend with ease.
