Defiant defender

Real Sociedad are continuing their remarkable form, having only lost the season opener to Barcelona, and going unbeaten up until now.

One of the reasons for that has been the form of their centre-back, Robin Le Normand.

The team has kept seven clean sheets in the league so far, which has seen them top the table.

Worth it?

It seems ridiculous, but Robin Le Normand's 84 OVR card is one of the best-rated centre-backs in La Liga.

The only ones that have a better overall rating are David Alaba's in forms, and the Flashback Samuel Umtiti.

At 9k to complete it may seem a bit pricey, as you can pick up other 84 rated cards for only a couple of thousand.

Le Normand does have the second-highest defensive stats for La Liga CB's, has decent pace and physicality, so all three of them combined seems like a good match.

The added bonus is his French nationality, meaning you can make easier links to other leagues if you want to.

Overall, we would say this card is worth it, even if it isn't groundbreaking.
