Team of the Year is underway in FIFA 22 Ultimate Team, bringing us not just incredible boosted cards from the Ultimate XI, but TOTY Flashback and TOTY Moments cards too.
TOTY Honourable Mentions have just been added to packs, with a Lautaro Martinez SBC also available to compete.

Reliable Sheriff
Fut Sheriff has been one of the chief leakers during Team of the Year, with everything they have said so far being reliable information.
We already had a loading screen tease confirming Honourable Mentions were coming again this year, and now we have the first name to add to the list.
Manchester United and England left-back Luke Shaw was a mainstay in both teams, helping United finish second in the Premier League and providing three assists and a goal during Euro 2020.
That goal also came in the final, where England eventually lost to Italy on penalties.
With two goals, 10 assists, and plenty of chances created, Luke Shaw was in great form last year and earns his Honourable Mentions card.

There are four objectives that need to be completed to unlock the card, they are:

- Score from Outside the Box in the Live FUT Friendly: TOTY Talents

- Assist 4 goals using a Midfielder in the Live FUT Friendly: TOTY Talents
Reward - 1 x Gold Pack
TOTY Success
- Win 4 matches in the Live FUT Friendly: TOTY Talents
Reward - 1 x Small Electrum Players Pack
Forward Progress
- Score in 10 separate matches using Premier League players in the Live FUT Friendly: TOTY Talents
Reward - 1 x Premium Gold Pack
What are TOTY Honourable Mentions?
With limited space available in the final XI, EA introduced the Honourable Mentions list to Team of the Year to reward the players who have just missed out on gaining an incredible card.
Honourable Mentions will receive heavily boosted cards in Ultimate Team but will not be given the ridiculously overpowered cards like an actual TOTY.
Last year, the following players were included in the TOTY Honourable Mentions group:
- Sadio Mane
- Ciro Immobile
- Andrew Robertson
- Marquinhos
- Jesus Navas
- Nabil Fekir
EA also handed a special objectives card to Jack Grealish after his incredible year with Aston Villa, so we can expect to see something similar in FIFA 22.
