Latest - Full TOTY XI out NOW
EA has just released the full Team of the Year XI into packs!
We already know which players were included, but it's time to get opening those packs you've been saving!
The 12th Man is set to be released on Friday, 28 January so you may want to wait until the last TOTY player joins the party.
12th Man vote live
EA has just released the vote for the Team of the Year 12th Man in Ultimate Team!
The 12th Man vote will be split between the following three players:
- Cristiano Ronaldo
- Mohamed Salah
- Karim Benzema
Find out how you can cast your vote here.
With it left up to a public vote again, it could be very likely that Salah will miss out on a TOTY inclusion, with many players picking CR7 instead as he would have a beast of a card.
Honourable Mentions confirmed
They are coming! Honourable Mentions are returning for another season, and they are set to arrive in packs as early as Friday, 21 January.
With the full TOTY XI revealed, we now know which players have missed out on selection, so there could be some big names among the honourable mentions.
Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland is certainly worthy of a card, although he is likely in the mix for 12th man!
Official TOTY Ratings
Along with confirmation of this year's squad, EA has also shown off the ratings with Robert Lewandowski and Lionel Messi leading the way with 98 OVR.
There are no 99 OVR players just yet, and we may have to wait for the Team of the Season event later in the year for those to arrive.

Team of the Year 2021
The Team of the Year is exactly what it says on the tin, the best performing XI of the past year.
Expect it to include a goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders, and three attackers, but not necessarily conforming to their positions.
It will probably also have a 12th man inclusion, which was picked up by Lionel Messi last year.
There will also be an honourable mentions list, for recognition of players that put in top performances but just didn't make the cut.
Attacking Threat
EA pushed a FIFA 22 TOTY loading screen live early in-game, and as a result, we had the full list of Attacker Nominees earlier than expected this year.
You can check out the full list of nominees and your Attacker options for the FIFA 22 TOTY XI below:
The usual suspects are involved, with PSG trio Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, and Neymar all in contention.

Midfield Magic
Last year we saw 19 midfielders nominated for a spot in FIFA 21 Team of the Year, with Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, and Joshua Kimmich occupying the three spots in the final XI.
As expected, three Chelsea stars feature with N'Golo Kante, Jorginho, and Mason Mount nominated for this year's XI.
English youngsters Phil Foden, Declan Rice, and Jude Bellingham also populate the list although they will be hard pushed to make the final cut.

Defensive Dynamos
There are no less than four English defenders nominated for Team of the Year in FIFA 22, although none of them are centre-backs...
Kyle Walker, Luke Shaw, and Trent Alexander-Arnold are joined by Newcastle new boy Kieran Trippier on the shortlist.
Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger could be incredible if he makes it into the final XI and we would love to see this happen.

Super Stoppers
Seven goalkeepers have been nominated for this year's Team of the Year, with Italian giant Gianluigi Donnarumma our favourite for the number one spot.
FUT favourite Mike Maignan is also on the list, and the FUT community certainly could sway the votes in his favour!
