What makes a wonderkid?

For a real wonderkid, you have to be a teenager upon FIFA 22's release, so that means Wesley Fofana and Kylian Mbappe will not be on the list!

Eduardo Camavinga (OVR 78 - POT 89)

A transfer deadline day deal saw Eduardo Camavinga move to Real Madrid to try and become a Galactico.

His potential rating of 89 OVR shows he could make it, and with 71 appearances already in Ligue 1, he is hardly inexperienced for such a young lad.

Rayan Cherki (OVR 73 - POT 88)

Hoping to follow his countryman to Madrid, Rayan Cherki has made it known Real is his dream club, and his potential mirrors his own ambition.

Very skilful on the ball and quite agile, he is racking up plenty of game time already at Lyon.

Michael Olise (OVR 73 - POT 85)

Another summer mover, Michael Olise will look to impact the Premier League with new club Crystal Palace.

He already has great skill on the ball with 74 DRI, and moves well for a man of 6'0" with 91 Agility and 87 Balance.

Tanguy Nianzou (OVR 71 - POT 85)

Picking up 3 goals in 13 appearances for French giants PSG is pretty good for a CB, after which Tanguy Nianzou moved to German giants Bayern Munich.

He will hope to improve on a promising early career, although injury has hampered him already.

Adrien Truffert (OVR 75 - POT 83)

This left-footer can put in a great cross, with decent stats across the board in movement, skill and defending.

Although a LB, you may find employing him higher up the pitch has its advantages.

Nathanael Mbuku (OVR 71 - POT 83)

Nathanael Mbuku is another youngster picking up a lot of game time, being included in the starting line-up 28 times in Ligue 1 for his club.

He is a tricky winger, not the fastest, but he has a quick turn on him.

Ruben Providence (OVR 67 - POT 83)

Coming through the PSG youth academy, he moved to Roma and is now out on loan.

Yet to make an appearance at senior level, Ruben Providence can play across the front line and is still trying to nail down a position.

Matthis Abline (OVR 66 - POT 83)

Matthis Abline is getting some minutes for the first team at Stade Rennais this season but will need a lot more game time before being able to reach his potential.

He managed one goal in the Europa Conference League Qualifiers, but apart from that, all his others have come while playing for the French youth teams.

Lucas Gourna (OVR 70 - POT 83)

Lucas Gourna picked up a lot of appearances last season in Ligue 1 and will look to take that experience to develop as a player.

He's decent all-round, but may struggle by not specialising in a certain aspect.

Adil Aouchiche (OVR 74 - POT 82)

Another all-rounder, Adil Aouhciche could also suffer from not excelling at one particular speciality.

He is best dribbling on the ball but doesn't have the pace to make him a top winger.
