This is the 13th year we have seen Ultimate Team on FIFA, and we expect EA to celebrate its birthday just as we have seen in previous years.
FUT Birthday, like many promo events, releases new high-rated special cards, SBCs, objectives and more over a two-week period.
Take a look at what you can expect from FUT Birthday below.
Release Date
The Future Stars promo ended on Friday, 19 February, and we are not sure what is up next.
In previous years we have seen Winter Refresh, Ones to Watch and Carniball brought into FUT 21 around this time of the season.
FUT Birthday is also a regular promo, but we think that will arrive later next month.
We think FUT Birthday will commence on Friday, 26 March and run for two weeks.
FUT Birthday
FUT Birthday celebrates the anniversary of Ultimate Team being introduced to FIFA.
Originally introduced as an add-on to the game, Ultimate Team is now the most popular and lucrative game mode available.
The first ever FUT Birthday promo was way back on FIFA 14, simply offering free packs for all players.
As the years have gone by more content has been introduced, and now we expect promo packs, SBCs and a new promo squad too.
Predictions
Last year, the FUT Birthday squad included the likes of Kylian Mbappe, Virgil van Dijk and Eden Hazard.
In total, 11 players were rated 90 OVR or higher in last year’s promo, so there should be loads of great cards released.
With positional changes too, we would love to see new roles for Sergio Ramos, N’Golo Kante and Kevin De Bruyne.
Just imagine a striker Kevin De Bruyne with improved pace, or even a right back N’Golo Kante that won’t stop running.
