Release Date
FUT Birthday is arriving on Ultimate Team on Friday, 26 March and it will be the first event for two weeks.
The event should run for two weeks, so we should see two different promo squads released alongside plenty of SBC and Objective content.
FUT Birthday celebrates the anniversary of Ultimate Team being introduced to FIFA way back in FIFA 14.
Originally introduced as an add-on to the game, Ultimate Team is now the most popular and lucrative game mode available.
Squad 1 Leak
Team 1 is due on Friday, 26 March marking the start of the event, but it looks like the first set of FUT Birthday has been leaked early.
We are expecting some positional changes and upgrades to weak foot and skill moves, but these are yet to be 'confirmed'.
If this squad is accurate, a centre back Ferland Mendy will be a very popular player indeed, until you have to play against him of course.
There are some good quality cards rumoured to be included, but if Jamie Vardy is the top-rated we will be a little disappointed after two weeks without an event.
Some leakers have said that the position and ratings of Junior Sambia are accurate and he looks like a strong French right back option.
Leroy Sane and Lucas Moura are both said to be CAMs too, and we think they will both be excellent cards if that is the case.
Card Design
EA revealed the card design for this year's event alongside the Team of the Week (TOTW) 26 squad.
Now we know what the cards will look like, we can't wait to see which players are released later this week.
Loading Screen
The following loading screen was released on Thursday, 25 March with some cryptic clues.
If the leakers are to be believed, then the Gemini could be Inaki Williams, Ferland Mendy or Mario Hermoso. Not really giving much away EA!
The August star could be Lucas Moura, and we would love to see the Spurs forward included.
Ivan Perisic was born in 1989, but again that seems a tenuous link with so many players born that year.
