The FUT community was fearing that FIFA 21 Ultimate Team could die a slow death after the Team of the Season promo - but we have been saved by Festival of FUTball.

The promo was last seen on FIFA 18, providing some epic cards centred around international tournaments.

Latest news - Nations Players Arrive

A second new card type has been introduced during the Festival of FUTball, with Uruguay's Jose Maria Gimenez released as a Nations Player SBC.

The new card is terrific too with a huge 92 OVR and searing pace.

He could be the perfect defensive partner for the likes of Raphael Varane and Jules Kounde if you have a La Liga squad.

Find out how to unlock Gimenez's 92 OVR card.

Festival of FUTball Release Date

FIFA 21's Festival of FUTball arrived on Friday, 11 June at 1pm ET / 6pm BST.

We are not sure how long the promo will run just yet, but we are sure to find out soon.

What is Festival of FUTball?

The Festival of FUTball is based on the stars of international tournaments, with it last seen on FIFA 18 for the 2018 World Cup.

CHOMPING AT THE BIT - Suarez will be looking to refined his 2018 form at the Copa America this summer

With the Euros, Copa America, and Concacaf Gold Cup this summer, we could see players from across the globe involved.

Plus, with Pele the only 99-rated item in-game, there is scope for more players to join the 99 club.

Expect star names like Harry Kane, Neymar, and Robert Lewandowski to feature this summer - but the promo may not go on long enough to include Concacaf Gold Cup players, with the tournament commencing in July.
