The delayed Euro 2020 group stage is coming to an end, with just three teams winning all of their matches.
Belgium, Italy, and the Netherlands have all breezed through their groups with 100% records, earning an upgrade to their Path to Glory players in FIFA 21 Ultimate Team.
With the Festival of FUTball set to continue in FUT 21, we could see some great upgrades in the not-so-distant future.
Latest news - Brazil pick up third win
Brazil mounted a late comeback against Colombia, with Casemiro scoring the winning goal after ten minutes of stoppage time.
There are three Brazilian Path to Glory cards that will pick up an upgrade, with Roberto Firmino the highest rated.
Real Madrid duo Vinicius Jr and Eder Militao are the other two stars with both already excellent cards.
Path to glory upgrades
If you still are not sure how the Path to Glory upgrades work (where have you been for the last two weeks!), then don't worry, we have you covered.
While not as straightforward as the Road to the Final cards we have seen previously, the Path to Glory players will follow similar trends to the What If promo.
Upgrades:
- 3 wins +2 OVR
- 4 wins +1 OVR
- 5 wins +1 OVR
- 6 wins - 5* Skill Moves and Weak Foot
With a maximum of +4 to their OVR, a start rating of 95 OVR could see a new 99-rated card.
Happy Hazard's
It's the Hazard brothers getting ready for an upgrade after Belgium topped Group B.
The first-half wobble against Denmark was Belgium's only concern in an otherwise straightforward passage into the last 16.
Eden Hazard will be the main attraction with a new 97 OVR when the Path to Glory upgrades come in.
Thorgan Hazard should not be sniffed at either with a new 92 OVR coming soon.
Italian job
Roberto Mancini's Italians look in ominous form having dominated Group A without conceding a goal.
They will face Austria in the last 16 and should be confident of progressing deeper into the tournament.
PSG duo Marco Verratti and Alessandro Florenzi are the Italian stars in for an upgrade soon.
Verratti is the standout star and will reach 96 OVR in the coming days when the upgrades do arrive.
Dutch delight
The Netherlands has been one of the most exciting teams to watch in the tournament so far, and their opening match against Ukraine was incredible.
They are yet to learn who they will face in the last 16, but with PSG new boy Georginio Wijnaldum in top form they will be full of confidence.
The former Liverpool man is also the focus of their Path to Glory upgrades as his card is incredible as it is.
Wijnaldum will reach 95 OVR, while his teammate Matthijs de Ligt will go one better and reach 96 OVR.
Bad news
France, Germany, and Portugal have all blown their chances of the top upgrade.
There will be no five-star weak foot and skill move upgrades for their Path to Glory cards, although Antoine Griezmann could still reach 99 OVR!
