FC 24: La Liga April POTM nominees revealed

As we reach the end of another month in FC 24 Ultimate Team, EA has announced the nominees for the La Liga April Player of the Month award.

Five La Liga players battle it out for the award of Player of the Month, with the winner being given an upgrade La Liga POTM special item in Ultimate Team, which will be made available via Squad Building Challenges.

Together we will go through the five nominees, discussing what they have achieved throughout April, and what their potential POTM card would look like if they were to win the award, so let's check out the nominees!

La Liga April POTM nominees & how to vote

EA has announced the La Liga POTM nominees for April, with five names being selected for the award.

The winning player will be given a boosted POTM card in Ultimate Team and join some big names in the game mode, such as Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde, and Robert Lewandowski.

You can vote for your La Liga POTM winner via the FC 24 Website, however, first, we shall look at the nominees and why they deserve to receive the La Liga Player of the Month award for April.

Vinicius Jr (Real Madrid - 89 OVR)

One of the league's best players makes the cut for the La Liga POTM nominees as Real Madrid looks to win the La Liga title for the 36th time in their history. Only two La Liga matches were played in April by Real Madrid, as they beat RCD Mallorca and Barcelona respectively, and Vinicius Jr. received his nomination for his goal and assist in the 3-2 win in the El Clasico. The Brazilian is the clear favorite for this award, despite winning the March POTM too!

Iago Aspas (Celta Vigo - 85 OVR)

Much like the rest of the nominees for this month's award, there haven't been many games played in La Liga, however, La Liga veteran Iago Aspas made sure that he put in a great performance to help his team. Celta Vigo dominated Las Palmas 4-1, with Aspas scoring twice and assisting twice, contributing to all four goals within the match. The Spanish striker is yet to win the POTM award this season, however, it would be hard to match his Fantasy FC card from earlier this year!

Youssef En-Nesyri (Sevilla - 82 OVR)

One player who has contributed in both of the matches he played in April, is Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri, who helped his side secure two wins within the month as they look to salvage a disappointing season in La Liga. The Moroccan scored once in a 2-0 win to Las Palmas, grabbed a goal and an assist in a 2-1 victory to RCD Mallorca, and was the main reason for Sevilla's triumphs in April. En-Nesyri is yes to receive a special card in FC 24 Ultimate Team.

Isco (Real Betis - 80 OVR)

Former Real Madrid star, Isco, has been one of the players of the season in the 23/24 campaign and has even made our La Liga TOTS predictions. Real Betis won both of their matches 2-1 in April, beating Celta Vigo and Valencia, and Isco was on hand to provide an assist in the first match taking his tally of goal contributions to double figures for the season. The CAM featured in the Fire and Ice Versus promo, so a POTM special item, would definitely surpass those cards.

Savio (Girona - 70 OVR)

Brazilian winger Savio is due a mega upgrade in FC 25 after an insane season with Girona, who are sitting pretty in third place in the La Liga table. After securing a move to Manchester City in the summer, Savio looks like a future star and an assist in a 4-1 to Cadiz is the reason for his POTM nomination. The Girona star would receive a huge upgrade if he was to win the April POTM award and would make for a brilliant skilful winger, although we think he may make the La Liga TOTS squad.

These five nominations have been deadly for their side recently, and despite the lack of games in La Liga, all are deserving of the POTM award.
