FIFA 23 is just around the corner, with a host of news and rumours spilling out regarding this year's game.
Following the announcement of a new collaboration between EA Sports and Marvel Entertainment, some fans have been wondering whether we could see some of our favourite comic book heroes feature in this year's game.

Superheroes in FIFA 23?
Unfortunately, the likes of Spider-Man, Hulk and Wolverine will not be featured in FIFA 23.
The EA and Marvel Entertainment collaboration is purely focused on promoting FUT Heroes, with no Marvel heroes set to be playable... at least this year.
There is the possibility that some of these heroes could feature in yet-to-be-revealed vanity items, but right now the collaboration only stretches as far as giving new FUT Heroes exciting illustrative card designs.
The dream of swinging the ball into the back of the net with Peter Parker may not come alive this year, but you never know what the future may hold.
EA x Marvel Deal
EA and Marvel Entertainment have announced a collaboration to bring a new cast of FIFA Ultimate Team Heroes to FIFA 23, reimagined and inspired by Marvel Comics.
This collaboration between two of the world’s largest entertainment brands will bring some of the game’s fan favourites to the game and celebrate their larger-than-life cult hero status alongside the amazing artists at Marvel
Each FIFA World Cup FUT Hero will receive a special illustrated FUT item at the launch of the World Cup game mode, with base versions of FUT Heroes being available at the launch of FIFA 23.
The collaboration will include other vanity items related to the fan favourite heroes such as tifos, kits and balls.
Fans will also be able to get their hands on a forthcoming online Marvel Heroes comic book alongside Marvel-written bios, with limited physical quantities to be made available at a later date.
Players who pre-order the FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition by August 21st will also receive a limited-time FIFA World Cup™ Hero Item.
