FIFA 22 is getting closer and closer now!
With plenty of speculation surrounding the potential new FIFA 22 leagues, we're bringing you all the latest news below.
Latest - No National League
EA has now confirmed that the National League will NOT be in FIFA 22.
Create a club is set to be a huge new feature in FIFA 22 Career Mode, and you will be able to replace any club in the world with your new side.
We know the National League won't feature though as EA said you can take your club from the bottom (League 2) to the Champions League.
Brazilian Serie A
@FUTZONECENTRAL on Twitter has reported that the Brazilian League could be returning to Ultimate Team.
With real players added to the database, it looks like EA may have secured the full licenses to the selected Brazilian teams.
Of course, we must take this with a pinch of salt, as players keep getting added with ratings from the Brazilian League, so at the moment it is a possibility and not a reality.
Indian Super League
@FUTZONECENTRAL, who has been very accurate with FIFA leaks and predictions in the past, has also reported that the Indian Super League could be on its way to EA's next title.
With a few player names added to the database already, there could be more on the way!
Of course, the Indian Super League may not be on the top of people's list of leagues they want to play with, but FIFA fans must be excited with more and more teams being added to the game.
What leagues will be in FIFA 22?
FIFA 22 will once again include the top 5 major leagues, along with many other leagues from across the world.
EA has the license for both the Champions League and the Europa League, so we imagine that they will also have the Europa Conference League too.
The new European competition is set to begin in 2021, so the competition may arrive after the release in an update.
We would love to see some more continental competitions in the game too, particularly the AFC Champions League with all the top Asian clubs in the game.
The South American competition is a great addition in recent seasons, but it appears to have come at the cost of the full leagues themselves.
Will there be new leagues in FIFA 22?
The league's that will be in FIFA 22 seem to be pretty much set.
There's talk that a Greek Super League could be coming to FIFA 22, following a fan survey.
Hungary's Nemzeti Bajnoksag I league and Liga Portugal 2 could also be on the way.
Which teams will not be in FIFA 22?
It could be panic stations at EA ahead of FIFA 22, with a fourth Serie A club licence being lost to rivals Konami and PES in the space of three seasons.
Atalanta, who have ripped up the script in both Italy and Europe in recent seasons, will become an exclusive partner with Pro Evo from the 2021/22 season.
We would imagine Atalanta will be named after its location in FIFA 22 - either the city of Bergamo or the region of Lombardy.
We like the sound of Bergamo CF or SSC Lombardia to give them that true European feel.
