A new TNA video game might be on the horizon, as revealed by TNA President Carlos Silva in an interview for the Daily Star. According to Silva, the game was added to the TNA list of priorities after a very successful Slammiversary pay-per-view, which the company wants to build upon.
This is great news for TNA fans and wrestling fans in general, as the last and only TNA video game was released in 2008, almost 20 years ago. Since then, plenty of memorable moments have been born, new superstars have graced the TNA ring, and plenty of chapters have been written in the TNA history books.
TNA Aims to Return to the Video Game Market

While there is still no date and no concrete plan for the new TNA video game has been revealed, TNA President Carlos Silva has guaranteed that it's an idea he is strongly considering. A new video game wasn't a priority for the TNA boss in the first six months of his tenure, but Silva now sees it as something important and that is viable to do.
It's on the cards, and the company is currently considering the next steps to take. Silva said that their current partnership with WWE has opened many doors for TNA, including the video games one. So, maybe the partnership also facilitates the development of a TNA video game.
As of right now, there is no date or timeline for the TNA video game, or even confirmation that it will actually happen. For the time being, we have to hold onto the hope that TNA is considering it, as confirmed by TNA President Carlos Silva, and that things will hopefully move in a good direction.
A new wrestling video game would be fantastic for the market and fans, giving players more options to choose from, as well as pushing 2K and Yuke to step their game up, making the battle for the wrestling video game world title belt more interesting.
