In the build-up to Christmas, we're taking a look back at some of our favourite players from previous FIFA titles throughout the month of December.
The latest player in our advent calendar series should revive some fond memories of one of the most enjoyable cards to use in FIFA history.
RealSport101 Advent Calendar - Day 3
We're continuing this Ultimate Team throwback series with a star that goes down as one of the most overpowered forwards FUT has ever seen.
He's Brazilian, he's rapid and he most certainly has the skills to pay the bills.
IF Maikon Leite - FIFA 13
We all remember just how good certain Silver cards were back in FIFA 13, where the likes of Gabriel Agbonlahor, Emmanuel Mayuka and Peniel Mlapa dominated the meta.
There was no player more overpowered, however, than Maikon Leite's 74 OVR in-form striker item.
This card had everything - immense pace, faultless finishing ability and of course brilliant dribbling and five-star skill moves.
Despite his 70 shooting statistic, Leite seemed to bury any and every chance in front of goal whether it be with his left or right foot.
Leite would commonly be seen in FUT 13's notorious 'BraSilver' squads, paired with players such as Wallyson, Jucilei and Camilo.
Leite will forever be remembered as one of the most enjoyable cards to use in the history of Ultimate Team.
Where is Maikon Leite now?
Seen as a gifted youngster, Maikon Leite made his competitive debut for Brazilian side Santos FC at just 19 years of age in 2008.
Since then, the winger has played the majority of his football in Brazil, with his best goal-scoring season coming in 2012 when he scored nine league goals for Palmeiras.
The skilful forward has two major honours to his name, having won the Copa Libertadores with Santos FC in 2011 and the Brazilian Cup with Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras back in 2012.
Now 34 years of age, Maikon Leite is still going strong, currently playing for Brasiliense Futebol Clube, operating on the right wing or as a second striker.
