There were rumours flying around of Hell Let Loose being the PS5 game this month, since it releases on the same day as the free games go live, and that seems to have been confirmed.
The French site, Dealabs, has leaked the lineup once again, after previous times doing so, and have confirmed the lineup below:
- Hell Let Loose - PS5
- PGA Tour 2K21 - PS4
- Mortal Kombat X - PS4
Free Games Release Date
As for when you can actually download the PS Plus October 2021 games, you'll need to wait until October 5.
While it may take until the afternoon for Sony to update the PS Plus tab in the store, you will be able to find and download the monthly games for free by searching for them.
Do so and you should see that they're available to be downloaded for free for subscribers. There's a short crossover period every month where two month's games are free. You just have to be ready to search for them.
