Official PS Plus Announcement
The leaks were wrong! PlayStation has finally confirmed what free games we're getting with our PS Plus membership next month.
A Plague Tale: Innocence is this month's PS5 title (and it's only the PS5 version we're getting) and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds round out the PS4 games line-up. It's not what we were expecting, but not a bad selection overall.
All of these games will be available from July 6th until August 2nd. Below is the original leak we thought could have been correct.
Full Line-Up Leaked?
It appears the full line-up for PS Plus in July 2021 may have leaked. Many sources are reporting the same two titles repeatedly but is it accurate?
A Plague Tale: Innocence is due to be available for PS5, while Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is set to be available for PS4. We're just days away from confirmation, so it will be interesting to see if these leaks are accurate or not.
PS Plus July 2021 Games Reveal Date & Time
The PS Plus July 2021 games lineup will be revealed at 4:30pm BST/11:30am ET on June 30, with the games becoming available for download the following Tuesday, July 6.
The games will be revealed via a tweet from the PlayStation official account, as normal, at that time.
However, we might see some leaks a little earlier that could reveal the lineup. The full lineup has leaked early in each of the last two months.
PS Plus Leaked Games
It has already leaked that A Plague Tale: Innocence's PS5 version will be free for PS Plus subscribers in July 2021.
It leaked before the game was even announced, with a release date of July 6 confirmed shortly after.
With a release date that's the same as the PS Plus games release date, the leak is almost certainly right at this point.
Other Possible Games
On Reddit, a poster had claimed that WRC 9 and Uncharted: Lost Legacy were the free PS4 games for July 2021, but the claims have since been removed.
That probably suggests that the claim was false and that the other free game this month are different. We'll have to wait and see.
No other leaks have been circulating over the past week, but we'll keep an eye out for them.
In the meantime, you can check out our predictions for what we think might show up in the lineup alongside A Plague Tale.
