Following the Dunk High 1985s debut in 2021, a new “Pink Denim” colourway has finally been revealed, leaving many fans wondering if Nike has announced a release date yet?

Although Dunks typically come in an array of bold colours, as evidenced by the upcoming Knicks-themed Highs, these 1985s utilise slightly more subtle tones with yellow washes over the midsoles for an added vintage feel.

As a result, the lighter, more neutral aesthetics put these Dunks in line for consideration as some of the best sneakers for this summer depending on their release date.

That being said, here's everything we know about the arrival of the "Pink Denim" colourway so far...

When Is The Nike Dunk High 1985 Pink Denim Release Date?

Although Nike has unveiled images of the sneakers, the brand is yet to disclose a release date for these "Pink Denim" Dunks.

Reports suggest they will arrive at some point in 2022 though, possibly even in the coming weeks as summer approaches, although the latter is yet to be confirmed at this moment in time.

It's also unclear whether these sneakers will debut in full family sizing.

Nike Dunk High 1985 Pink Denim Design

As mentioned, these Dunk Highs come dressed in light tones and give off a vintage feel thanks to several retro design features.

For example, the midsoles arrive in a subtle shade of yellow reminiscent of the tones likely to be used for the reimagined "Chicago" Jordan 1s to give the sneakers a more aged aesthetic.

The rest of the sneakers then combine white leather with washed-out pink denim overlays across the toe boxes, eyestays, heels, and Swooshes.

To add a little bit more colour though, Nike has decided to use a bright red thread to complete the exposed stitching, thus adding a subtle yet effective pop to these sneakers.

Underneath, you'll find dusty pink rubber outsoles featuring Nike branding in the centre to complement the black logos on the tongue tabs and insoles, therefore rounding these sneakers off in typical Dunk fashion.
