Nike has revealed official images of a new Dunk High colourway which has instantly drawn comparisons to the New York Knicks basketball team.

It's not uncommon for Nike to use sports teams as inspiration for its designs, a point evidenced by the Dodgers coloured "Jackie Robinson" Dunk Lows which celebrate a legendary baseball career.

However, Nike is yet to confirm whether these Dunk Highs are in fact Knicks-themed, or simply designed using the team's colours by coincidence.

Regardless of which is right, here's everything we know so far about the release of these Dunk Highs...

When Is The Nike Dunk High Knicks Release Date?

Although Nike has revealed official images of the sneakers, the brand is yet to confirm an exact date for their release.

Most reports predict their arrival at some point in 2022, perhaps even in the coming months; however, the latter seems to just be a rumour at this moment in time.

With more information likely to be revealed soon, make sure you check back in with us as we'll be keeping this article updated with the latest news as and when it arrives.

Nike Dunk High Knicks Design

These Dunk Highs adopt a simple two-tone colour scheme which is incredibly similar to the colours used by the New York Knicks basketball team.

Not only that, but the two-tone approach is also reminiscent of some of the best Jordan 1 colourways around.

Dark, navy blue leather is used to construct the base, while bright orange overlays provide a contrasting tone across the toe boxes, heels, eyestays, and Swooshes.

The laces then come dressed in navy blue to align the two-tone colour scheme.

You do, however, get white rubber midsoles as is customary with most Nike Dunk designs, thus breaking the colour palette slightly.

In terms of branding, you'll find orange Nike logos stitched to the blue tongue tabs, while the reverse can be found towards the back of the bright orange insoles.

You also get the Nike logo placed in the centre of the orange outsoles to round off these Knicks-inspired sneakers.

Nike Dunk High Knicks Price

Without an official listing, it's hard to know for sure how much a pair of these Dunk high-tops will cost.

That said, some outlets are reporting they will arrive with a $120 price tag; however, this information doesn't appear to be confirmed at this moment in time.

It's also unclear as to whether smaller and subsequently cheaper kid's sizes will be made available yet, so make sure you stay tuned to find out more right here.

Where To Buy The Nike Dunk High Knicks

We believe one of the first places you'll find a listing for these Knicks-inspired high-tops is at the Nike store, presumably under the new releases or the Dunk sneakers subsections.

We'd also recommend signing up for the push notifications once a listing goes live on the SNKRS app or page so you're completely prepared for their upcoming arrival.

You could also try the resale market at StockX if your initial attempt at purchasing a pair is unsuccessful come release day.
