The final cover athlete for NBA 2K21 has been revealed.
As expected, it is the iconic Kobe Bryant, but NBA 2K's tribute goes beyond one piece of cover art.
Keep reading for more details.
Legend Edition becomes Mamba Forever Edition
The top tier edition of NBA 2K is normally labelled the Legend Edition.
That will change this year, as 2K rename it the Mamba Forever Edition in memory of the amazing Kobe Bryant.
The cover on the left, of Kobe wearing #8, will be the Mamba Forever Edition cover on current generation platforms (PS4, Xbox One, PC etc).
#24 Kobe on the right will be the next-gen cover when the PS5 and Xbox Series X arrive.
Priced at £84.99, the Mamba Forever Edition doesn't come cheap, however there are bonuses.
Dual Access for Mamba Forever Edition
The Mamba Forever Edition will guarantee next-gen access!
That means if you buy it on release day for PS4 or Xbox One you can play it straight away on your next-gen console (as long as you don't jump across families).
