Release date
The Madden 24 Zero Chill program went live on Thursday, December 7, at around 10:30am ET. All of the information regarding the program was revealed in the December 6 MCS Zero Chill challenge stream, which took place at 6:30pm ET.
As mentioned above, this program introduced great cards, but it also brought a new Field Pass, new challenges, drops, and some amazing rewards.
So, let's take an in-depth look at all the content the Zero Chill program introduced.
Zero Chill events
The Zero Chill program also has two events, which will arrive at MUT at the same time as the release II cards. One is an H2H online event, while the other one is an offline game mode.
The H2H event is called "Tis The Dang Seaosn", and will allow you to earn snowflakes, the Zero Chill program currency. If you lose a game you will get 10 snowflakes, if you win then you earn 125 snowflakes. This amount will increase gradually, and if you reach four wins you will earn 4000 snowflakes.
If you manage to get eight wins in a row, you will earn a choice pack with a 91 OVR Ezekiel Elliott and a 92 OVR Charvarius Ward. Both these cards are auctionable which means you can sell them and make some good coins.
It's worth noting that, this H2H event is limitless, meaning you can earn a plethora of snowflakes. This also means you can earn both cards mentioned above as many times as you want, allowing you to make a lot of coins since they are auctionable.
As for the offline event, it's called "Reason for the Season", and will put you up against multiple CPU teams. The further you progress in the event the harder the matches become.
However, similar to the H2H2 event, you can also play this event as many times as you like. These events are perfect for collecting snowflakes which will transform into coins once the Zero Chill Program is over.
Madden 24 Zero Chill Field Pass
Just like it happened in previous editions, the Zero Chill program introduced a new Field Pass. This Field Pass has 30 LVLs and offers players the chance to earn a plethora of rewards such as cards, season XP, coins, snowflakes, and more.
The Zero Chill program also introduced 40 new challenges, with each challenge offering players unique rewards. These rewards can be used to upgrade your team, complete the Zero Chill sets, or progress through the Field Pass.
Now, let's take a look at the Zero Chill program sets.
Madden 24 Zero Chill sets
Almost every program in Madden 24 introduces new sets, and Zero Chill is no exception. This program has four sets, one for the 82 OVR Elites, one for the 86 OVR Elites, another for the 90 OVRs Heroes, and one for the 93 OVRS Champions.
To complete these sets you just need to fill the requirements shown in the image above. The 90 and 93 OVRs sets are quite hard to complete, but they also give you two of the best cards in the game.
Zero Chill MUT drops
We also have the Zero Chill MUT drops program, which allows players to earn multiple drops throughout December. To do that, users only need to tune into a selected number of Madden Twitch streams to earn prices.
First, players needed to log into MUT on 7 December to earn 84 OVR out of position Donald Penn. Users will be able to upgrade this card by using tokens, which they will earn by watching specific Madden Twitch streams.
This part of the Zero Chill program started on 7 December and ends on 29 December. By tuning into all the streams you can see in the image above, you will earn enough tokens to upgrade that Donald Penn card to a 91 OVR, and collect other great rewards.
So make sure you don't miss any of the above streams, as they will have some great rewards awaiting you.
How to earn the Zero Chill Mike Evans
Similar to what happened in the Harvest program, the Zero Chill program also has a specially designed card players can earn. This card is 91 OVR OOP Mike Evans and was designed by COBO, the winner of the MCS Harvest challenge.
This Mike Evans card not only has spectacular attributes, as you can see in the above picture, but it also possesses Deep Out Zone KO and Deep Route KO. Furthermore, the pick artist ability only costs 1 ability point in this card, making it one of the best safeties in the game!
To earn this card you needed to do the following:
- Link your EA and Twitch account
- Tune into the MCS Zero Chill challenge on December 6th at 6:30pm ET
- Watch the broadcast for at least 120 minutes
- Enter MUT and collect your Zero Chill Mike Evans pack
