With the arrival of Madden 24 Season 3, we have many new programs coming to the game. One of those programs is Cover Athletes, which has now been revealed.
As the name indicates, the program will focus on athletes who were on the cover of past Madden editions. Players such as Brett Favre, Tom Brady, and Richard Sherman, among others, will feature.
Without further ado, let's find out everything about the Cover Athletes program, starting with its release date.
Madden 24 Cover Atheletes release date
The release date of the Cover Athletes program has now been announced!
It will be taking the weekly Monday slot left vacant by the AKA series, and will start today, 27 November.
That means that reveals will be made on Sunday afternoons on the @EASPORTS_MUT Twitter/X channel before dropping in the game at 1:30pm ET/6:30pm GMT on Mondays.
Madden 24 Cover Athletes program
The program will feature two versions of cards and starts this week with Marshall Faulk's Madden 2003 cover and Ray Lewis' Madden 2005 cover.
The first version is a 92 OVR standard card and the second is a 93 OVR LTD that is called a Collectors Edition. Collectors Edition cards will feature a Tier 2 and Tier 3 discounted ability as an X-Factor that starts activated.
These OVRs should rise with the general trend, so we could see some 94s and maybe even 95s by the time it ends.
